Ammit is brilliant at giving very clear demonstration and instruction with great visualisation techniques and suggestions for an amendment to an exercise if and when needed. He gives lots of positive encouragement. I have arthritis and am so glad I signed up for these classes, which are helping my balance and mobility. Thank you very much Ammit!”

“My 4 year old absolutely loves The Little Gym and looks forward to her class each week! She loves all the teachers and they are really great with her. I really like that there is different focus/ theme each week and month. It’s great to be able to sit and watch the class - particularly when there is the 1 on 1 time at each station working on a different skill. The teachers really concentrate on technique and have the time and patience for them to attempt numerous times. They also congratulate and celebrate too which really helps their confidence. It’s also greatly appreciated when a teacher comes out to the parents at the end of the class to debrief. 100% recommend!”

“Both my son and currently my daughter have enjoyed being part of the Little Gym. The instructors are fabulous and have brought their gymnastic skills on fabulously though fun and imaginative games. Great for burning off lots of energy after school and my daughter loves the holiday clubs which have lots of varied activities including crafts. My little girl's birthday party was also hosted at the Little Gym and she and her friends had an amazing time.”

“I visited this store to purchase a new pair of trainers as I wanted to increase my running distance. I was firstly met by Amy - one of the staff members who was super helpful and spent around an hour helping me try on various pairs of shoes. She put me on the treadmill and did a gait analysis which uncovered a slight imbalance in my feet. This made me very nervous but Amy reassured me that this is common and after a few more try ons found a perfect pair of trainers for me - New Balance 880. I was very sceptical about spending so much money at first but my new trainers have been perfect, and I'm now much more comfortable with running longer distances. The whole experience was friendly, warm, and welcoming and I will definitely be visiting this store again for my next pair of running shoes. “Been skating with my friends and absolutely loved it and I was recommended by my friends to visit MJ Sports. The staff explained all the different brands and fittings. The person who was looking after me (didn't get his name) was great and help me find entry level skates and will within my budget! I went for the CCM FT860 and they heat moulded my skates and then sharpen the skates for me.”

“I joined this gym a few months ago after comparing to other gyms in the local area and this was by far the best gym. It has a great variety of classes, a lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. The gym is fantastic with a huge variety of equipment and free weights. A special mention goes to personal trainer Eliza. I signed up for some 1-2-1 sessions with her which proved invaluable. Her knowledge is vast and she listened to what I wanted to achieve and designed 3 programs for me to follow for upper, lower and full body strength training. I highly recommend her! I've found all the staff friendly and the changing facilities are great. too.”

“I joined David Lloyd and started PT sessions with Ana Ava at the same time. Having never joined a gym before, it's been so valuable to have Ana guiding me through and building my confidence. I'm 6 months postpartum an it's only been a month of PT sessions and I already feel such a difference and am lifting heavier than I thought I would. Ana is fab - she's encouraging without being too pushy, genuinely celebrates your wins and adjusts each session to what you need. I'd really recommend her!”

Pros: my partner felt really comfortable training at this gym, helpful staff, clean, good selection of equipment from techno gym, able to get a really solid workout, spacious, wasn’t overly busy when we trained at around 10 am Sunday morning, spa facilities. The cons which may be a positive to others, not a selection of different brands ie Atlantis/prime etc, for me the gym is a good mix for anyone that trains but doesn’t excel for bodybuilding, strongman but at the same time can get a really good workout.”

“I stayed one night here recently and I wish I stayed more! The hotel is in central location, just beside the train station. The lobby area was nicely decorated and people at the reception were friendly. I learned that rooms here has nice view of the city, so I requested for one at higher floors. The room I got was at the 19th floor and the view from up there is exquisite. You can spend hours sitting on the window bench, looking at the city and landscape far away. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was also quite big and with a bathtub. I will definitely go back this place many times.”

“Love this gym and since Everlast have taken over its just gotten so much better than when DW ran it (terrible before), new makeover for the gym had me a bit sad it was closed for a while but honestly it looks amazing now its been done, tons of new machines with wireless charging which is great for music. “Moved here from Utopia Active, and I have to say although it isn't as new, it is a much more professional environment. Cheap cafe for coffee, tea etc. Immaculately clean toilets, good seating area. Very reasonable price at £50 for 10 weeks!!”

“Just joined DW great gym! Staff very friendly and helpful. The gym equipment is very modern and lots of choice. The changin rooms are very clean and spacious.the gym is also clean with paper towels and spray to clean the equipment after use. The atmosphere is great too, no posers which is good, all shapes and sizes. The reviews I saw on here do not match up with what they are saying! I joined the selby DW from Leeds DW and was a little apprehensive because of the reviews on here. I was shocked because the staff are friendly and the gym is lovely. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.”

“I've been going to Jodie weekly for the past month now and every week my hips and lower back are feeling less painful. I could barely turn or bend without severe pain and there was a constant pressure and aching which was relieved by nothing other than vast amounts of painkillers. I am on week 2 without pain relief and I feel like a different person already. There's still a way to go but I feel so confident in her expertise and she is such a sweet person. 100% professional and she takes time to let you explain how the symptoms have been through the week and treat them accordingly. I'm a hairdresser of 26 years so I've been to plenty of chiropractors, osteopaths and physio's over the years and Jodie is by far the best. I have a mixture of acupuncture, deep massage, stretches, compression and exercises to do at home and I feel the combination is perfect and worth every penny. I just want to add that I have gone to far more expensive, experienced people but not seen the results I am experiencing with Jodie. I would give her 100 out of 10 if I could!!”
