   I love coming to this Edinburgh Leisure ( Craiglockhart gym ) but the gym’s hygiene is ridiculous. The people using the machines don’t wipe down after using and there’s not enough signs to suggest people should clean after.. It’s particularly older men that have an attitude when you suggest Hey why don’t you clean the machine after using and they try to have an argument. If the staff could have a word with people/ put more signs up about it instead of standing at the desk when you first walk in that would be helpful

   Poor website, poor app, phone lines suspended, emails not answered, it taking 45 minutes to set up a direct debit... the list could go on. You'll be particularly frustrated if both you and your children use EL, the mess of accounts / direct debits / fobs is beyond belief. Considering that EL is (I guess) subsidized, this is a waste of public money. EL had plenty of time to improve systems while they were closed due to Covid - but why would they want to do that...

   Highly dissatisfied and disappointed with how Edinburgh Leasure handle my case during Covid times. I moved from Edinburgh and had some swim sessions left, I have asked if they could transfer it to an existing customer/friend, as simply due to Covid I wasn't able to use it up before they reopen. They refused it. I find this absolutely disgusting, especially during these times when we all struggle financially, they could have simply given someting what was paid for already and make someone else fit/happier but they refused it. Now my credit will be lost.

   Great equipment in the gym. Good range of classes and timings, I especially love the new weight lifting class! Staff are very friendly, especially receptionists.

   Potentially a good gym.. comprehensive equipment on too little floor space. Machines are too close to each other which could put nervous beginners off. Staff seem friendly, both in the gym and the rest of the centre.
