   We were a group of five who went as a birthday treat. We had a really excellent experience. Escape Reality is well laid out and friendly. The staff are absolutely brilliant! Friendly and helpful. There are a number of optins that vary in difficulty. We did Machina which was Level 4. The puzzles are fun - challenging but certainly doable. You have an hour to escape which we managed with a few minutes to go. Would certainly go back. Great fun for any age!

   My friend and I visited the other day and loved it so much that I came back again with a group today! The rooms are incredibly immersive and the puzzles are so creative and fun. Every member of staff was absolutely lovely! I got to interact with Karen and Stephen, and they truly elevated the whole experience. They explained everything in such an engaging, immersive way and were so sweet and fun. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back! ❤️

   5/5 stars! "We were blown away by the exceptional service and flexibility shown by Stephen and the team at Escape Rooms Edinburgh! We ran a bit late and they accommodated us with ease. While our daughter was in the escape room, we were treated to lovely teas and coffees, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The escape room itself was AMAZING - such a great experience for all of us! Stephen, you're a credit to the business - your enthusiasm and energy made it extra special. Would 100% recommend and can't wait to come back!

   Awesome escape room!! Very fun puzzles and an awesome atmosphere!!! We did the asylum room, it was challenging but fair! Our gamemaster Stephen was friendly, funny and made the whole experience immersive and exciting!! I can speak for my group that we can’t wait to go back!!! Edit! We went back to do Ritual and it was incredible!! Possibly the best room in my opinion! We had Noel and they were a brilliant gamemaster engaging, fun and entertaining!!

   Our team had a really lovely time! While we were in town we did all six rooms, Ritual, Machina, and Alcatraz were our favorites. The other three were also very enjoyable. The team of game masters we had, Cameron, DJ, Noel, David, Stephan, Rebecca, Eve, Lillie, Bob, and Alex were very kind and helpful. One day they even made us tea while we waited for the room. Each game master set up the back story for us (always choose the backstory! It sets the mood for the room in a fun and interactive way). After each session they offered us great props and a little photo shoot which was fun and goofy. The puzzles come in a variety of ways and follow the theme of the rooms. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back for any new rooms!

   Posting this review late as it completely slipped my mind. Visited the escape rooms back in November with a friend. Had never attempted one before, and by the end of our trip had done two. Experience was excellent. Did both the Nosferatu and Alcatraz rooms. Puzzles are fair but challenging, and encourage good team work. The audio played throughout keeps you focused and tense which adds to the experience as you navigate through. The facilities were in excellent condition. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. DJ was our game master, and his energy and enthusiasm was next to none. Very clear explanation of the rules/gameplay, made finishing a room a very enjoyable experience (we finished our first one with a minute and 17 seconds remaining, to which he stated he could hear us screaming inside the room!). Overall just a quality experience. Would recommend anyone to go if you’re in Edinburgh. The prices are also very reasonable for both small and larger groups. If I’m back in Edinburgh any time, I’ll be sure to go to try the other rooms too!

   A very good experience! It was the first time we tried and no regrets!! My 6yo daughter really enjoyed it. Staff very friendly and kindly explained everything in a very simple way. DJ was a very good master for our first time here. Definitely we'll repeat it :)

   Escape Erin Escape Reality Edinburgh was a wonderful experience that I’d recommend to anyone with a knack for excitement, problem solving, and team building. My girlfriend and I booked The Asylum a few days before our return trip from Edinburgh, and we definitely had a wonderful time. Stephen took us down to the starting point, went through a quick tutorial of the different locks we would experience, and showed us how to use the tablet that shows your time counting down (as well as features a way to get hints within the rooms). His briefing set the stage in such a wonderful and exciting way, and once we started our time, we were off! Between the two of us, we worked together to solve the mystery to escape the asylum alive! It was so fun, we had asked for another room, which luckily, they had an opening for us. We chose to take on Alcatraz, a much harder yet still awesome experience. This one made us really have to think hard in order to accomplish our escape, which was done with barely any time left. Definitely something to challenge your team. We got our pictures taken after we finished, and the assortment of costumes, accessories, and signs made that fun as well. If you have to wait a little while before your room, there are little brain storming games to play, as well as an assortment of drinks and snacks prior to entering. They also have some gifts to buy that are priced fairly. There are free lockers for your bags and phones, and restrooms to use prior to being locked in for up to an hour. The venue was easy to find, close enough to walk to the Royal Mile, and it was clean and spacious. Thanks to both Stephen and Alex for their professionalism, encouragement, and friendship during our visit. We will definitely visit again if we ever make our way back to Edinburgh.

   Myself and a friend completed the Alcatraz and Nosferatu rooms and we had such a blast! Bob, Alex and Stephen were brilliant game masters who helped explain the rooms perfectly, getting us engrossed in the story, as well as being very charismatic and welcoming to us both. I am an escape room hobbyist and had a brilliant evening with the rooms here. Can't wait to try the others!
