The room was very clean β you couldnβt fault its cleanliness. It was a good size, but you should keep in mind that this is a student dormitory, so everything is designed for one person, though slightly larger β just enough for two people to use it for a night or two. The view was toward the sea and a nearby supermarket building. So, despite the long distance from the city center, you wonβt have any problem with shopping. The bus stop is right in front of the building. The only thing missing was shampoo in the room, which we had to provide ourselves.

Very rude reception. They don't store your luggage once you arrive, and you can spend the whole morning carrying it. For the price, it's worth staying somewhere else and having some kind of facilities.

We stayed in July in flat 15 room D. The site has bed bugs, BEWARE, which we reported and were told could not be escalated without a doctors note. Pictures were provided of the obvious bed bugs bites (in clusters, itchy after a few days, blood on sheets), but no solution was offered. Avoid! We had to decontaminate our luggage. I fear for the poor students in their come September.

I had been planning to visit Edinburgh for a few months but when I saw the extreme prices of the hotels, I was thinking to cancel my trip. Then I saw this place, the prices were really affordable and the location was so close to sea that we could go to the sea at midnight or early in the morning. The receptionist on our check in day was a lovely lady who was very kind and helpful. I can say you get more value than the money you pay. Don't expect a luxury hotel but the cleanliness and facilities surpassed some of the hotels which you had to pay twice more money. The only thing to mention is the size of the bed which is really small for two people and the pillows are too thin ( not mentioning this as a complaint as I am still happy for the value we got for the money, it's just a guideline for people who want to go there to know) Overall, I was very happy for our stay.

Where to start first of all the staff were pleasant room pleasant bad points are that trying to book a car into the system was a night mare first time didnβt work then second attempt made my bank stop the transaction due to it being fraudulent. Booked through Expedia with no advice except to talk to staff about parking. Trying to contact euro car parks is impossible so good luck to anyone driving to this accommodation

This place was lovely to stay. Sarah, the manager was amazing with helping us move in and also, where to go and what to do. From the moment I signed up to the moment I moved in, Sarah was available to speak to whenever. Really lovely place and supportive staff as well. Definitely worth considering for staying during studies.

For my first time living away from home, this building has taken me on a journey. From move in day I knew that I was going to build as a person and this building would help. I would become more independent but with a little help along the way, that's what this building did for me. Yes, it's not the nicest location and yes, waking up seeing the college isn't the nicest but it's the building itself that makes this worth it. You are able to meet new, wonderful people from the start in the social area downstairs, create memories and have a wonderful time, then later on go up to your flat and have a good time with all your friends in the wonderful kitchen and living areas. The flats are very spacious and if you keep them clean, very nice to live in. The accommodation manager Sarah and her two little helpers (Kobe and Bruce) are the most amazing human/dogs you could have. So helpful and kind and make sure you have the best stay you can, if you stay on their good side (especially Kobe). I've made wonderful memories here, and I have had ups and downs but I wouldn't change the way this especially weird year has gone. Having spend most classes in my room on my computer on zoom, I can assure you, I know this building well. And on the most part, it's treated me well.

Had a lovely time staying at the accommodation, met a lot of wonderful people including Sarah who is just loved by everyone. The rooms are great along with the en suite bathrooms and the flats themselves are a great space to socialise with your flatmates. Any issues are taken care of quickly and I think itβs a good place to stay if youβre living away from home for the first time.

Accommodation is great value for money, despite what another resident has said, βThe Staff.β Is a brilliant excellent woman called Sarah and runs the office single handedly (Without complaint) and does so many things for everyone, some of which people donβt realise. Packages as said in the resident handbook are our own responsibilities (Both outside and inside of office hours), Sarah is an excellent accommodation manager who does so much stuff to help every single resident have a pleasant stay. Canβt wait to return next year. Accommodation is 5 star but you canβt put a star rating on Sarah.

As a whole the building is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and meet the standard of student accommodation. The building manage and receptionist is a great addition to the building as she is very helpful and someone you can go to with any concerns. The building also has great communal space where residents can socialise. Overall a great living experience
