“Nice and clean room's. Plenty of space to dine and the bar area is reasonably sized. Parking, Plenty of spaces and will fit the larger SUV style car's too. Staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. Pool, steam room and the changing area's all in good order and clean. Can't remember on the pool area but the room's and bar are wheelchair accessible. In house WIFI available. Would I visit again? Yes yes I would. We found it a very good spot for excursions as it's located near the main road's and made the day trips start well. No body wants to sit in traffic at the very start of a day out. Forth bridge and Kelpies are very close by if you want to cross them off your bucket lists quickly.”

Restoration Yard is stocked with amazing local, Scottish and independent food and drink producers. Your wee eyes will twinkle with delight, your jaw might even drop at the incredible range of tasty treats in store. The Hamporium has a number of ready made hampers available on their website but you can also make your own bespoke hamper. And this is exactly what I did. It was filled with goodies for a perfect cosy Christmas night in. Red wine, crackers and biscuits for cheese, hot chocolate and stirrers, chutney, cured meats, truffle nuts and mince pies. If you fancy heading in store to select and choose your hamper, Dalkeith Country Park, Restoration Yard is approx 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh City Centre. There is plenty of parking, loads of shopping, a fabulous cafe and The Kitchen, a superb restaurant. Plus a great park to wander around. The grounds and the courtyard outside The Store are dog friendly and there are several small cabins selling hot drinks and treats in the courtyard too.”

“Only used the Swimming Pool which is 25m long and has a very deep deep end (3metres?) So deep it is used by the local sub aqua club for training. Pool was busy but not so busy that I couldn't swim lengths. Changing facilities were as expected and staff friendly and helpful. Has a large car park with ample spaces. Other facilities include a bar and outdoor astroturf 5 a side pitches. The centre is large so will have other facilities I am not aware of as I am not local to Bo'Ness. Rumours that the council want to close the centre to save money. Hope it can be kept open as it seems a well used public facility with plenty to do.”

“My daughter had her wedding reception at deer park golf and country club, deer park road Livingston on Saturday 28/06/2025 there was 180 guests at this reception and everyone had a great time bar prices were on average catering was good, and the DJ was excellent the room was spacious and the staff were very pleasant, the food for the buffet also was very good. My daughter was given a room to put all extra items in and presents and given the key to go back when she wanted to collect all the items. All in all very good and I can highly recommend this venue”

The swimming pool facilities are top-notch — especially the main pool and the brilliant leisure pool with a flume and wave machine. It’s perfect for both serious swimmers and kids who just want to have fun. The poolside is clean, well-maintained, and well-supervised by friendly staff. The gym area is modern and well-equipped, with a good range of cardio machines, resistance equipment, and free weights. It's spacious and rarely feels overcrowded, even during peak hours. The fitness classes are varied and professionally run — from yoga and spin to body pump and aqua aerobics. Changing facilities are clean and secure, and the café area is a nice bonus — great for a post-workout coffee or snack. What really stands out is the staff: always helpful, welcoming, and professional. They create a very inclusive and relaxed environment for everyone, from beginners to regulars.
