I’m really disappointed with the current standards at Bannatyne’s, especially given this is marketed as a premium club. The changing rooms are consistently dirty and often smell unpleasant. Shower room doors are visibly unclean to the point I don’t feel comfortable hanging my towel up. The spa uses excessive chemicals — it regularly irritates my eyes — and the water rarely seems refreshed. The pool and jacuzzi areas also have old, stained, and dirty drain covers, which is unacceptable. The café is frequently closed and when open uses very low-quality food, which again doesn’t align with a premium experience. I’ve also left items behind on several occasions and nothing has ever been handed in. Finally, the gym floor is far too small for the number of members, with constant waiting for equipment. Overall, standards have dropped noticeably and this feedback is shared in the hope that genuine improvements are made.

Nice facility, but changing rooms and gym needs a overhaul. too out dated and alot of mold in the changing rooms

Staff are lovely and ready helpful and knowledgeable, classes are good, gym is decent, pool and sauna are good, but the facility desperately needs an overhaul. It's been promised for over a year and and still nothing! Ladies changing rooms are a state, apparently the shower cubicles have been upgraded but there's still black mold on the ceiling and cracked/filthy floor tiles throughout. Lights above the mirrors don't work, faulty straighteners take literally months to be replaced and the new air con cycles between freezing cold and sweltering hot. Would be really nice if there was a proper deep clean over Christmas!

A real hybrid between a local council sports centre and a more luxurious wellness centre such as David Lloyd. Gym is small, considering the size of the building overall, but some decent equipment. Pool, sauna and steam room have potential, but need work done on them as they appear outdated, especially the changing rooms. Staff are friendly and welcoming. £25 for a day pass, which is a bit excessive as its the same price as a day pass for David Lloyd which is a considerably better wellness centre. Would consider a membership if it was modernised a bit to justify the price.

since I joined this gym over a year ago the place has always been needing a re-vamp. 1 year in and I am done with this place, the showers have mould on every single soap dispenser, the ceiling is mouldy and when I am showering it feels like a health hazard as you can see all the wallboards are mouldy behind them. The gym is shockingly bad compared to even the cheapest gyms in livi. All machines too close to each other and you have to change workouts due to the layout and lack of muscle machines. The mens changing rooms are dated ane 20 years old. The gym is 20 years old and the pool and sauna are 20 years old. They can barely call this place a leisure centre they are lucky the staff are so nice and keep customers here. I will not be renewing my membership and feel like. We are due the right to cancel early due to services not being up to current standards.

Been a member for years and there is a consistently high level of service and excellent equipment wherever and whichever gym you visit (Falkirk, Livingston and Burton all used)
