On a hot day this facility is a god send. I checked other outdoor pools and they were pre book only, all were fully booked. Banbury is first come first serve, you turn up at the time (get there early) and you get in. Very well organised, 4 very vigilant life guards, beautiful and enormous pool.
Old lady in the reception quite rude and arrogant, she sent me to end of queue while I was waiting in the reception about 2 hours. She spoke thoughtfully in front of my 4 year old lad. Stress center instead leisure. Bad management by the way
Perfect 50 meter open air pool with lane swimming. It was pretty cold today- 18degrees but the sun was shining. Staff on reception were so friendly and helpful. Lockers need a Β£1 coin and hairdryer 20p ( although not working today ) the changing room is a mixed area with lockers in the middle and cubicles all around.
Very nice Olympic length 50 meters pool. Well separated when families are in , 3 or few lanes are reserved for clockwise swimming. Restrain fro. Diving. Deep end 180 cm Gradual increase of depth Very friendly lifeguards, staff. Handy Caffè no alcoholic drinks unfortunately. The outdoor pool obviously is not open all year long. Roughly May to September. Contact venue for details. Swimming entry in batches of almost 2 hours.
An amazing local facility. Huge pool with cafe and grassy areas to sunbathe or picnic. Lockers and showers etc. Loving the new timetable this year! Really good value for a family activity. Highly recommended.
It a pity that is only one outdoor pool here...but nice place, really cool when is not crowded. Water is clean and proper temperature . Small bistro inside, site still under construction. Good for families with kids.
