   We have my sons swimming lessons at Barry Road. To my knowledge you cant participate in a public swim as its only for lessons I believe but I may be wrong (first time for everything although my wife would disagree). It's always clean the only disappointing points would be the water never seems very warm which could be interesting in winter and also the smell towards the toilet end of the pool. Don't get me wrong the toilets are always spotless but doesn't smell very pleasant at all. If the pool was warmer and the smell wasn't present it would definitely be 5 star review. The temp of the pool does change and in winter is lovely and warm. Also not noticed the smell for a while so hopefully they have resolved the issue.

   Had a hairball in and we found very disgusting things at the bottom of the pool and was so slippy, we had to change in curtains that hardly covered us. No privacy and dirty

   Is a great place to learn to swim needs to be kept open at all costs definately dont need a fountian in market square in Northampton at 150k money should go to keep these sort of things open council needs to get there priorities sorted
