“Took my rescue dog, Skipper, to get him flea treatment & to get the microchip details so I change it to my details. I have used SPA Veterinary hospital for as long as I can remember(40+years), never had any problems & the staff seem genuinely happy to help with any issues my fur-companions have. Probably the only Veterinary hospital I trust to help me take care of my fur-companions!”
“Great experience. My dog Pepper went in for eye surgery today, the service and care from what I understand was quite a routine operation was brilliant. They obviously care about the Pet more than anything else and understand that what ever op it’s horrible for the owner. Made us feel that our pet was genuinely in the best care she could be in. 10/10 would highly recommend this clinic. The WhatsApp updates were very much appreciated”
“Always excellent service. All the vets we’ve seen have been thorough and kind with my cats who do not like going to the vets. I have three cats and two guinea pigs The pet health club offers a great service but some other vets charge less for the same thing and offer multi pet discounts. I pay more for the pet club each month than I do for my pet insurance. It’s probably still worth it to make sure your animals are up to date with all the treatments.”

“We were referred to Rowe's eye clinic by our vet as Maya has dry eye. When I got her, her vision was awful, she would fall into puddles or off steps. I never dreamed that we'd see the day she would chase a ball. Her quality of life has been improved so much already. The staff are really helpful and prescriptions are posted out really quickly too.”
“My dog visited Avon Lodge for the first time today and I am over the moon with the service and care Bec and Jo provided. My dog is a large, nervous rescue, which makes me a nervous owner when in new environments! Firstly, Jo was very friendly and communicative over the phone and made sure the vet was aware of my dog’s triggers and needs. Then on arrival, both Jo and Bec were very warm, friendly and respectful of my dog’s boundaries. As a result, my dog warmed up to Bec faster than I have ever seen with a stranger and was so comfortable and confident in his new surroundings. The service was top-notch and I will be a lot less nervous next time my dog needs to go in. Thank you so much!”

I really can't recommend them enough and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Thank you all for your hard work!”

“My tortoise sadly passed away coming out of hybernation and although they are not her vet they accepted me rushing in with her intears and tested for any sign of life. They were extremely compassionate and caring they warapped her in a towel and refused to charge me for their time and a few days later sent us a card with seeds to scatter and a lovely message. I am extremely grateful to you all and would highly recommend this practice to everyone with a animal they adore.”
“I can’t thank Dr. Kate and nurse Katie enough for the incredible care they gave my cat, Pop Chip. Also I want to thank the lovely Raven, a care assistant, who was working reception that day - she took the time to explain how it would all work, even though she was juggling lots of tasks! They performed a very thorough dental procedure on Pops, and I’m in awe of the quality of their work — his stitches are so neat and tidy, especially considering how small and delicate the area is. It’s a work of artistry and precision! Pop Chip is not the easiest patient - he’s extremely anxious and fearful of people after being rescued from an abusive home by the RSPCA last year. We only adopted him not long ago too. Despite this, Dr. Kate and nurse Katie handled him with such patience and kindness. They even managed to take blood from his tiny veins and wrangle him back into his carrier, which is no small feat! He’s recovering well from his tooth extractions, and I felt completely supported thanks to the detailed post-op care instructions they provided. I honestly couldn’t have wished for better dental work or more compassionate care. Thank you so much for looking after my little guy so well!”
“Wow. I took my very sick cat here. I got the most exceptional help from the vet Lucie. She was so kind and helpful, and sympathetic to the difficult situation I faced with a sick pet. I cannot imagine someone more helpful! That is not to say that the cat is better (it's not) but at least I feel that I have had very good advice. I would strongly recommend Lucie to anyone facing this kind of challenge.”
“Great service, great staff, trust 100% with my pooch health care”

“After using Rowes Thornbury for the past 2 years for our boxer dog we had no hesitation signing our new chocolate labrador puppy up to be under rowes care. Unfortunately 5:30 last night she had a funny fall on her front leg fearing the worse we contacted the Thornbury branch and was seen to within half hour. A pain relief injection and some cuddles from the team and she is back on her feet and her happy self. Would highly recommend!”
