   The care my dogs have received there has always been good and the nurses are very helpful. They used to do dog grooming which we utilised regularly and is a shame they have stopped offering this service. Unfortunately the receptionists in the Chepstow branch can be difficult and often verging on rude. If you can tolerate dealing with them then it’s a great service from the veterinary team. They are the only reason I would consider going elsewhere.

   This visit was for a recently adopted cat from Cats Protection Gwent to have her second jab. We are not normal clients of this practice but this is who Cats Protection use in our area. We were treated well and all the staff were very friendly. I believe the practice is not currently taking new clients.

   Just switched to this practice and after one visit I'm already incredibly impressed, and what a difference to my previous place in Chepstow! Wish I'd found this first. Our new vet at Archway was knowledgeable, super friendly, and understanding. The visit didn't feel rushed and my slightly nervous dog was given the time he needed, with as little pressure as possible. At my previous practice we kept having a different vet each time, due to how big the place was, never allowing my dog to get fully comfortable with one person. Archway is much smaller and is like a family practice, and you'll have the same vet in the future. They can also write prescriptions for 6 months at a time depending on the medicine (just like most vets do for life-long medication) something my previous practice only did monthly *regardless* of the medicine. At Archway, I felt unpatronised and I felt they trusted my knowledge about my own dog and his breed, behaviour and medical condition. They are also understanding about reactive dogs and prepare entering/exiting to minimise triggers, which again is a huge difference to our previous practice where it was nearly impossible. This switch is the best decision I've made all year! Big thanks to the whole staff for a great welcome.

   I’d never used the practice before and had to take my rabbit in after phoning up, ( lovely lady on the phone), I brought her in and she was treated and seen almost immediately after getting there. She was back to her usual self with in hours of getting her home ,I can’t thanks they wonderful hardworking staff, that made me feel as ease throughout! I Highly recommended this practice
