“Got 100% care and service. Friendly .never rushed . Understanding my concerns for my nervous skinny dog and the attention the lovely vet gave both dogs was excellent. I only see two of their vets as I like the continuity between them. Thank you .”

“I have had a couple of good experiences with this vet but the last visit was outstanding. Our dog was attacked by another dog and although his injuries were minimal the staff were really sympathetic and understanding. They were honest with us that he probably didn’t need to see a vet but in a very kind understanding way that didn’t make us feel like we were over reacting. They also gave us some good advise on managing our dogs interactions going forward after the attack”

We had to have our very very loved Labrador put to sleep, an utterly heartbreaking experience that with Ailsa’s gentle and sensitive approach turned something terrible into something beautiful and dignified. We will be eternally grateful to her.”

It means that I can get on with my work. I would happily recommend Friends for Pets Bristol to any of my friends or family. Actually my sister has already started using them.”

    Queen Charlton Cattery

“Yet another stay with our only trust worrhy cattery (Queen Charlton) Lucy and her team of girls are so kind and super friendly not just to us humans but the felines are adhored. My ginger tabby Elvis loved the upgrade to a penthouse. Viewing chickens from his window and huge countryside. He didn't want to leave. Booking Xmas 2026 to avoid disappointment. Cheers girls and Lucy x Another holiday for my fur baby. Lucy is the loveliest owner and manager who gives every cat a clean, sterile place to call home. It may look a little shabby from the outside, but it's all safe and clean. I look ot upon shabby chic, but the love and attention is second to none, and is genuinely a 5 star care of attention. My cat has a very special diet that has to be defrosted 24 hours in the fridge before my cat can eat it. It's all steamed and frozen. My cat comes home relaxed and well, with reluctance to leave. Highly recommend.”

“A little late in writing a review, but I really wanted to thank Nicky and her lovely team for looking after our cat (Pepper) while we were on holiday. It's the first time we've been away this long so was a bit worried leaving him, as previous cattery stays have not been good. One time he was really stressed out by the whole experience and another time he came back sick, which cost us a lot in vet bill - not ideal the day after coming back from holiday. Nicky sent us updates once Pepper settled in and he looked so happy. We were worried for nothing because Nicky took such good care of our little baby. They genuinely care about the cats so much and I don't trust anyone else with him now. Thank you so much The Caring Cattery!”

    The Animal Rehab Clinic Ltd

    ★★★★★ 4.9

“I can’t say enough good things about Anastasia at the Animal Rehab Clinic. After Fido was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, we had sessions at another centre but the travelling there and back mounted up so looked for a specialist closer to home. I reached out to ARC for Fido’s physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions using the underwater treadmill. From the very first session, Anastasia was amazing. She took the time to explain everything and made sure Fido was comfortable throughout the process. The underwater treadmill was a game-changer! It really helped Fido build strength without putting too much pressure on his joints. We also had a plan created to do at home inbetween appointments which Fido was getting better at every week. I loved how Anastasia tailored each session to Fido’s needs, and I could see him improving each time. Not only did he get stronger, but he also seemed to enjoy the sessions, which made it easier for me to keep him motivated. Sadly, Fido passed away unexpectedly, but I’m so grateful for the care and support Anastasia provided during our time together. If you’re looking for a fantastic physiotherapist for your furry friend, I highly recommend the Animal Rehab Clinic.”

“I can’t express how comfortable Caroline made us feel. We recently moved over to The Grove Vets and brought in our two three-year-old British Shorthair cats for their boosters. They’re usually quite anxious at the vet, but this time they seemed much more at ease. It was such a relief to find a vet who really understands cats, especially British Shorthairs! Caroline was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all our questions. I often leave vet appointments feeling overwhelmed and unsure about things like feeding, weight, and general care. This was the first time I left feeling calm, reassured, and like we’re actually doing okay. It made a big difference to feel properly supported and listened to. Even before the appointment, I had a good feeling about this clinic. When I first called to register, the person on reception was so helpful, efficient, and friendly, and I felt instantly at ease. We’re really glad we made the switch to The Grove!”

“Marlows are by far the most professional, caring, knowledgeable and competent Vets surgery in Undy, Chepstow, Caldicot area. Well staffed, well managed, well equipped. Excellent core competences in small and large animal surgery and anaesthetics. Administration provide seamless pet insurance claim support and take care of all matters. Best advice for animal welfare and a personal service as they quickly get to know their animal clientelle. Marlows saved my dog's life when he had acute gastroenteritis, they saw him as an emergency and arranged speedy intervention with hospital care. When he came home they called every day to follow up on him and provide advice. We came across Marlows by pure fortune. Our beloved, 20 year old cat was rejected by another vet as being too old for surgery to remove a tumour from her neck. They claimed that she would not survive. My daughter found Marlows so we took our precious friend to see them and they were true to their word, they were experts in anaesthetics and surgery, the cat recovered and went back to being a first class rodent exterminator in our neighbourhood. She led a rich and fulfilled life for another three years, precious years.”

“All of the staff here are absolutely incredible. When we have visited in the past it has been for routine appointments, except for one late night emergency with a dog visiting us early in 2025 (they very kindly treated him out of hours even though he wasn't a patient of theirs). My husband and I had to rush our dog in yesterday after he suddenly collapsed and was very distressed (as were we!). The staff were all so kind and helpful, and a vet (Rob) saw him straight away. Rob was incredible, helping to get our dog into the consulting room, examining him, listening carefully to everything we could tell him, and giving thorough advice and great treatment. I cannot recommend Nurture Wells highly enough. They are wonderful!”

Very compassionate and caring which made an awful experience easier to cope with. Now we have a new bundle of fur and the care and support they offer is fantastic. Every member of staff treats you as if you were the only patient and they are all so welcoming. My dog is treated like a VIP as whichever member of staff he meets, makes a big fuss of him.
