“Changed to Brentknoll after poor service from previous vets who I had been with for over 20 years. They could not get my dog in for check up for an ear infection as deemed it "non urgent" and could only offer me appointments several days later (initially called on the Saturday and told to call back Monday and then when called back on the Monday was only offered their practice 8 miles away or the next day - by which time my dog was in agony). Brentknoll were lovely from the moment I called and got me in within a couple of hours. Lovely service and sorted her out so wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Transferred to Brentknoll from now on and will avoid the other vets like the plague!”

My 1 dog had two emergencies and they were absolutely brilliant, saw her immediately for both occasions. Staff are lovely, no bull or waffle just honest great treatment. Very fair prices too. “My poor little rat, Rue, went to sleep yesterday at companion care. The experience from start to finish was so kind and compassionate. On the phone they were gentle explaining our options, and when we entered the receptionists were so lovely. When we were called in the vet did a check over to make sure it was the right decision which made me feel at ease knowing it was 100% the best choice. The vet explained everything start to finish and was so incredibly patient. She got Rue a blanket and let us spend as much time as we needed with her. Afterwards she was still lovely and reminisced about Rue with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience within such a sad situation. Everyone working there is understanding and caring. I couldn’t recommend anywhere better.”

This was a terrible thing to go thru but they made it the best it could be. The use of a separate part of the house for his passing, made for us, I little more bearable. “Best vets around I moved to blacks vets from another practice after being badly treated. I had been going to the previous practice for nearly TWO YEARS!!! and I was still no further forward with what was wrong with my dog Billy. After only two visits to blacks he was diagnosed with a rare life limiting illness sadly. I was devastated. From that moment on even with the insurance everything was dealt with amazingly. The staff are lovely, kind and understanding. The vet who I saw was so brilliant. He treated my Billy like his own. All insurance was paid out with no problems. To the point I used up my whole policy. Which due to the fact he had so much work done. They did everything they could to keep him going. At the end when the time came to say goodbye they treated us like royalty. Made us feel so special. It was such a peaceful passing. I was devastated. They even took a fur clipping and put it in a bottle for me and a paw print for me to кеер. If you want a good, caring, genuine vets look no further”

“I’ve been here twice now and the service has been top notch. The reception team make you feel welcome and made a big fuss over my cat Rosie. She has been for her initial jabs. A few weeks ago for the first with Helen who really looked after her gently. And today with Kay who administered the second jab and a chip, again really gently with her. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this practice. From the team on reception to the vet and nurse I had the pleasure of dealing with you’ll get first class treatment.”

“Such a wonderful team. This was our first visit. My dog is extremely anxious and we've had issues even getting through the front door of our previous practice. Thus, I thought that we would try a new one. The practice manager and the 2 friendly receptionists were very welcoming and all 3 made efforts to befriend my dog and help her relax. “We've been taking our two rescue guinea pigs to 608 vets since we got them over 3 years ago. For most of our visits we have been looked after by the exotic vet, Sergio Rodriguez Valera. As they've got older they've had a few issues and this year, they needed two operations each, first for gynae problems and then for skin tumours. Sergio has done an amazing job with them, dealing with some difficult issues in two of the ops, and both guinea pigs are now doing great. He always took time to explain what he was doing, answering our many questions, and really cared about how they were. Five stars isn't really enough. Thank you Sergio, I don't think it's overstating it to say they probably wouldn't still be here without you.”

“I've brought my rabbits here twice now for their annual check ups and vaccines and have had an amazing experience both times. The vets are extremely knowledgeable and helped put the buns at ease even when they were being fussy. Both times I have been advised of treatment or care advice with zero pressure to purchase them but all the information to make a decision myself. The woman at reception is also really lovely and welcome. Seriously can't fault them and wouldn't want to go anywhere else now.”

“Unfortunately Lyn had to have her Cat Louie euthanized due to a Stomach Tumour your Vetanory Nurses were excellent , they spoke to Lyn by phone, as she could not attend as she is disabled, explainng everthing , they sent a Sympathy Card and arranged Cremation and Casket, overall a very professional, sympathetic experience, gladly recommend to everyone.
