The receptionist are lovely The vets should be sales people though!! all they suggest is wanting your money more they actually caring for your pet! They twist every conversation into wanting your money it’s such an OFFPUT
Took my dog in because of diarrhea – the whole appointment lasted barely 10 minutes, and I was charged £150! My dog got an injection, antibiotics, and a digestive paste which cost £22, even though the same type of paste is sold in pet shops and online for around £10. Absolute daylight robbery for such a short visit and overpriced medication. I understand vets are expensive, but this felt completely unreasonable. Very disappointed.
Very caring staff. I found a cat that had lost his life in a hit and run. The staff here were so sweet and had so much compassion and handled everything respectfully. Would recommend to anyone
I have asked for a simple advice and felt listened and heard a few weeks ago. It was regarding my cat that is half feral. The lady who provided advice seemed to be genuinely concerned and frank and her advise worked. My impression was that her advice was aimed primarily at safety and health of my pet, alongside my peace of mind, rather than them, as a surgery, making money of me as their priority, which was a breath of fresh air in the sea of money focused businesses...Later, I remembered that pre-pandemic, they also had a vet (called Ben) who was amazing with my nervous dog (who was labelled as aggressive in other vet surgeries). Amazing people!
I've brought my rabbits here twice now for their annual check ups and vaccines and have had an amazing experience both times. The vets are extremely knowledgeable and helped put the buns at ease even when they were being fussy. Both times I have been advised of treatment or care advice with zero pressure to purchase them but all the information to make a decision myself. The woman at reception is also really lovely and welcome. Seriously can't fault them and wouldn't want to go anywhere else now.
Awful place. Bought our dog here in great pain. He was muzzled on the request of the vet who was called Georges. Because my dog was in pain he struggled when Georges tried to exam him. The vet seemed to be afraid of my lovely natured collie even though he was muzzled and couldn't have bitten him . After 2 half hearted efforts to examine him, he said quite sharply that 'there is nothing you can do with a dog like that' He made no real effort to examine our dog, showed no compassion whatsoever and we feel he was completely unfeeling and disinterested. He prescribed some tablets that were inappropriate and we were were charged £87.30 for absolutely nothing We had to take him to another vet the next day where we got the appropriate treatment. Unfortunately our dog beloved dog had to be euthanized 3 days later, which may or may not of been a related issue. I feel the service we received from Colebrook and particularly Georges was non existant shocking and deeply upsetting.
Best vets I have tried so far, very knowledgable and thorough. Were able to comfortably clip my grumpy cats claws too! Only downside is the waiting area is a little small but the vets are prompt so don’t leave you waiting long.
Simply the best vets, such kindness and empathy with our old cat. We received a card from you today with a packet of forget me nots seeds which we thank you immensely for. We will plant the seeds in her pot and think of happy times. We highly recommend your practice and your compassion is truly appreciated.
Really kind, friendly and helpful vet practice. All costs reasonable and made very clear during appointments. When we had to have our cat put to sleep all the staff we really lovely and we were able to take all the time we needed. They explained all the options really clearly and were really supportive. With our other cat they always explain everything clearly and making an appointment is very easy. Would really recommend.
This is one of the best veterinary I have been too. We are not registered here however we brought in a stray cat who really needed help and everyone there was amazing. They have helped the cat and have been giving us regular updates. Their service is unmatched and they truly work from their heart with love for the animals Hollie and Stacie you were amazing that day we came in when we were all really upset about the cat You did your best to make us feel at ease and re assured us the cat will be fine Thank you so much once again
