Christine saved the life of my hamster, Chimken, and I will be forever grateful. After contacting several vets, 608 Vets was the only practice willing to see my hamster and carry out proper diagnostics. Christine performed surgery and saved her life. My hamster means everything to me, and throughout the entire process Christine was nothing short of an angel - kind, compassionate, and incredibly professional at every check-up. I have so much respect for her. Even when I arrived late to appointments, she still took the time to see me. On occasions when I was her final appointment of the day, she still greeted me with a warm smile and genuine kindness. That level of care and dedication is rare. I trust Christine completely and wouldn’t want anyone else caring for any future pets I may have. I truly owe her everything. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough - this place genuinely saves lives.

I AM BROKEN. Never go to this vet unless you want to be threatened, controlled and have your animals life took away from you. They are cruel and the manager is highly manipulative. He told me i cannot leave with MY cat as she is “suffering and in danger” and if i do they will call rspca. I felt powerless, manipulated, under pressure and racially attacked. My baby was full of life as you can see in the photos and a soldier, They took £200 and my fur baby’s life. Legislation to “protect animals” but they do not care about anything apart from money. May God heal their corrupt, money grabbing souls. They have not made a difference in my animals life. I am traumatised. 0 stars if i could. I have reposted this as they have tried to silence me, shame on you ALL.

Big thank you to the team at 608 Vets - I'm not convinced my cats are aware they've just had their vaccinations, they were very much at ease exploring the room, making new friends and enjoying treats! I registered both of them here because of the brilliant experience I've had previously when my girl needed out of hours emergency appointments - we were seen promptly, the reception team and all the Vets we have interacted with are absolutely lovely, very empathetic and thoroughly reassuring when I was worried sick about my baby. The cats' only complaint is having to get boxed and travel in the car... but that can't be helped. They were quite happy once we were seated in the cat waiting area, which I think is a nice touch. Heartily recommended, though I hope we don't have to return until their next routine check up/vaccination - here's hoping they stay out of trouble, but at least we know where to go if anything happens!

Absolutely fantastic service. The receptionists are so helpful and friendly, and the vets are so thorough and caring. My dog is always getting into mischief, and I feel so comfortable leaving him in their care. We have been to two other vets and received nowhere near the service 608 provides.

I've had some of my hardest times having to go down here and 9 times out of 10 have always had the support and understanding and help from staff here. Whether your pet is a rat to a cat, they understand that these animals are your family and respect that. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a new vets place

I have previously taken hamsters to 608 for treatment and had to visit them again yesterday. As usual all the staff were friendly and helpful in securing my hamster urgent attention as she had suddenly developed a breathing issue. Once I arrived she was whisked off by a nurse for oxygen treatment and as it was sometime before the vet could then see her. In the meantime I was given regular updates until I got to chat to the vet and we came away with a course of antibiotics and follow up visit booked for 3 days time plus instructions to get back in touch if her symptoms were causing me to worry further.

normally have a really good experience with 608 receptionist, however a couple months ago we phoned in saying our kitten is not eating and she feels cold and we would like her to be seen straight away. receptionist told us to keep an eye on her but didn’t book us in. we had to phone up twice before we got an appointment in the evening, which was too late as my kitten had passed away in my arms on the way to the vets. i found this so unprofessional from the receptionist as if i’m telling you my cat needs medical attention and needs to be seen, that’s what should happen. i understand vet practices are extremely busy but if a customer is phoning you multiple times for an appointment then it should occur to you that it is an emergency. however, the vets were really sympathetic.

608 vets showed amazing care to my cat. When it was time to let her go the staff were amazing. They showed such care and compassion to me and my beloved cat Fifi.

Lovely practice with very friendly staff. Just got our bunny vaccinated & spayed here and I knew she was in very good hands. They gave us lots of information and have been very helpful with any questions we've had. Would recommend for you and your pets!

Lovely friendly staff, a long-experienced, traditional practice. Excellent in-house facilities which reduces the likelihood of having to go elsewhere for certain treatments. Leo’s first experience was a very positive one. Thank you.
