MONEY MAKING VETS- AVOID AVOID AVOID! POOR TREATMENT DO NOT take your pets to this vets. To save your money if your pet becomes sick - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. you will incur a hefty price- MONEY is PRIORITY over the welfare and health of the animal. Take your pet to a better veterinary practise- do your research and READ EVERY SINGLE REVIEW. Upon recommendation i brought my cat here to have dental treatment including extractions. My cat came home sitting in his own faeces- whilst he was in their care nobody made an effort to check on him. My cat became very poorly after the treatment, he developed a high temperature, lethargy, weakness, refusal to eat or drink and just slept ALOT. He was in SO much pain. On the day of the check-up they failed to notice what could be wrong with him and why he was in so much pain. The Owner James Horner suggested we put him on IV drip for 2 days- and then a feeding tube but that would not have identified the cause of his pain. The first day he was put on IV drip, the 2nd day i did not return back because i was told he is a greedy vet who is into making money rather than put priority over the animals health. I went to my local vet and upon inspection they said a fragment of tooth must have been left in his mouth causing the pain. My cat underwent surgery again to have it removed. and was given an appetite stimulant to get him eating. WHEREAS James Horner wanted iv fluids for 2 WHOLE DAYS and stick a feeding tube down him when it WASNT NEEDED. This would have caused my cat extreme anxiety when he already suffers with it. Why wasnt an x ray done to find out the cause of my cats pain? My local vets do an x ray after the treatment, James Horner vets dont do this. So i would NOT recommend taking your pet here. I have also been told that James Horner told someone that he DOES NOT CARE ABOUT FERAL CATS. If you become a vet shouldnt you care about all animals??? Also one of the vets accidentally killed a cat because she overdosed him. LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND NEGLIGENCE. AVOID this vets to save your pet and save your money.

Sparkle has dramatically improved with her walking and she is relaxed enough to hop up on the sofa and snuggle on the bed again. She was super scared to go into hydrotherapy at first but everything went at her pace and now she absolutely loves going in. We see a big improvement in her every time we go and she has avoided being put on strong painkillers thanks to all of the exercises, hydrotherapy and lazer therapy that she has done. We couldn't recommend the wellbeing centre enough and Horners vets are all amazing too. Sparkle loves going in to see everyone and she sees the same vet every time. Such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere makes such a big difference and Sparkle drags us in every time we visit.

This is by far the best vet it is outstanding James and the team are by far the best vets our 2 kids have been cared for by, no question to big or silly for the team they have the time to listen to any worries problems just pick up the phone and ask a question. The after care is also outstanding, James called me on Friday in his own time to check on the kids has they have not been to the vets in awhile. For us that speaks volumes a private vet that cares about your pets not like corporate vets that just want the money guys from Marley n Pebbles you get 5 woofs great service.

Such a caring practice - I can not recommend them highly enough. We moved to James Horner after our previous vet became part of a corporate group. From the moment you walk in, the staff are so attentive & helpful. James is just amazing - very calm & explains everything in a way which is easy to understand but not patronising. His affinity with animals is clear to see. He and his team recently diagnosed one of our dogs with lymphoma and helped us through the journey which sadly came to an end this week. Our boy went with such dignity & this was all made easier due to the wonderful way that every single member of the team supporting us. They are truly caring humans & after 30 years of dog ownership I can truly say they are the best vets we have seen. Keep up the great work guys - we truly appreciate you.

Highly recommend James & the team, I moved both my pups from a large corporate ran practise due to a number of issues and lack of empathy. From the first appointment in July 2021 we’ve not looked back. Customer service is second to none, patient care is the same, the practise is always spotlessly clean, and every member of the team knows the animals names, personalities, and ailments it’s lovely to see such care and passion from the minute you walk through the door. I wouldn’t trust anyone else now with my two dogs. James speaks to you as an equal rather than a neurotic pet parent, listens to your concerns and then works with you to resolve whatever the issue maybe rather than just fobbing you off. T&R love you guys!!

Registered here recently with our little 3 year old Dachshund cross "Dexter", as aware he needed a operation to remove a growing hernia. A common problem from birth shared by all breeds of dogs. We visited James and his assistant Caitlin who undertook a very thorough pre op examination of our little fellow. "Dexter" had his operation a week later, all went extremely well and discharged the same day, together with a lovely pet vest instead of the usual lamp shade to stop biting op area. During his op it was noted he had a few small skin tags that were also removed, futhermore whilst asleep they even trimmed all his nails ! Vets don't come cheap but we were pleasantly surprised by a reasonable bill upon completion. We've been back recently for a post op free check up, together with another free visit to discuss his future health plan and wellbeing etc. Honestly this lovely new vets together with all the staff we have met are truly wonderful and care about your pet. Located under rhe Morrisons complex the free parking is ideal, also noting if you're a pet owner in Solihull, Olton, or Sheldon, consider James Horner as "they're just round the corner".
