I am very grateful for the swift care we received for our dog. All staff here were most kind and empathetic during what was a difficult time and the service was above and beyond. Thank you

I tried Acron a few years back and wasn’t impressed, but decided to give it another go since it’s just down the road from us. One of our cats had a dry paw and the vet recommended Vaseline—but it made things worse, as she started licking it more and ended up with a wound. We had to book an appointment urgently and ended up spending another £90 on medication and a collar. What really pushed me to write this, though, was the unpleasant experience at reception. I asked if they could merge our old and new address accounts by searching our cats via postcode. The woman at the front desk acted like she was doing me a favour instead of providing a basic service and was so unpleasant —despite the fact we’re paying customers. A little kindness and professionalism would go a long way. I’ve decided to return to my old vet, even if it’s a 15-minute drive. They’re always friendly, helpful, and make you feel valued—not like an inconvenience.

I’ve been here twice now and the service has been top notch. The reception team make you feel welcome and made a big fuss over my cat Rosie. She has been for her initial jabs. A few weeks ago for the first with Helen who really looked after her gently. And today with Kay who administered the second jab and a chip, again really gently with her. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this practice. From the team on reception to the vet and nurse I had the pleasure of dealing with you’ll get first class treatment.

Had to have our dog put to sleep, they were very caring and kind. He was very calm and went to sleep with no fuss.

In my time here i will say the veterinary nurse herself is a lovely lady….but i cant put my finger on which girl or girls that works there but when theres a situation they have a stuck up attitude to there self and i personally wouldn't say shes a nice people at all more heads up there own bottoms if im honest and there healthy pets club is a shambles yes i get it starts from puppy to adult and the prices will change but what they tell you is you can cancel any time its a monthly thing but then when you do cancel they total up everything after a year and half and try charging you with it all scum trick to lock you in to there little business they wont tell you that before you start the pet club but they will leave voicemails demanding the money immediately and repeat the price and that they can take card payment over the phone a hundred times to provoke you in to losing your ragg with them but they do repeat there not part of the healthy pet club as well several times but there demanding money because its cancelled yet there not part of it

PLEASE PLEASE do NOT use Acorn Vets, after raising concerns regarding non transparency and openness of records written about our pets….which did not correspond with what as paying customers we had been told…we paid out £1400. We were met with a very disrespectful and patronizing response from the practice manager no professionalism whatsoever (appointed 2021) . I agree with other reviews…it appears that Acorn vets (family run) are very much money orientated! Feel totally let down and disgusted. A report to regulatory authorities has been sent in the hope to provide protection for others from further bad treatment by these people!!

Thank you to Peter Haseler and his vetinary nurses and reception staff for looking after our cat 'Fluffy' last Wednesday Mr Haseler removed three teeth, she was in a little pain afterwards and she has a bit of a lopsided smile for now. We are very grateful for your knowledge and explaining why you had to remove her teeth and showing us her X-ray's. We came again today just for a quick check up and Mr Haseler seemed happy with Fluffy's progress, so thank you all for looking after her so well. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year

After being a loyal customer for over 15 years we have experienced utter disappointment from acorn vets due to their practice manager Catherine haseler who is awfully dismissive, patronising and unhelpful as well as thinking it is ok to call loyal customers liars! She needs to learn how to deal with customers correctly with an open and transparent manner and remove her bad attitude, this including laughing down the phone before she gets any further complaints from customers and acorn vets get a bad reputation.
