“We used George Vets as an emergency while we were on holiday in The Cotswolds. They were absolutely wonderful and our dog received excellent care, despite them not being our regular vets. Everyone we dealt with from the vets in Tetbury and the hospital in Malmesbury, were so kind and reassuring. They also accepted our Many Pets insurance policy, so the whole process was seamless. We cannot thank them enough for being there for us at a very difficult time, and were happy to get the best possible outcome.”

In my 50 years visiting vets I have not experienced such an unhurried focused appointment. We learned so much about the health and body of our little dog and felt totally confident and reassured by her diagnosis and treatment. “I’m sorry you are getting bad reviews from the community for something out of your control. If they only knew the amount of animals that always need help… and to shame us for not being able to help? Shame on them as “good samaritans” for not offering to pay the bill. Someone has to be financially responsible. When your car breaks down, we don’t expect the maniac shop to do labor and parts at no cost just because the car means something to someone. It’s called LIFE. “Needed to take my elderly dog into the vets two weeks ago as he was having breathing problems. We didn't have an appointment but entered the waiting room first thing. Without hesitation the receptionist organised for us to see Jake. Sadly we needed to say our last goodbye to Ben. During this very difficult time myself and my family felt like the only important customer there that day, we had as much time as we needed with Ben, nothing was too much for the staff there. “After our beautiful cat, Grace, passed away from terminal cancer, Garston Vets were understanding and respectful. They sent my husband and I a bereavement card, with a packet of wild seeds attached. So that we can scatter them, as a reminder of our loss. I also asked for paw prints and cutting of her fur, which they did, even putting her colours into separate vials (white, black & ginger). My cat box, towel and throw were also returned to us. The staff were brilliant, at this sad time. And for that reason, I am giving them a 5 star rating.”

“I can’t thank the staff at Highcroft enough for the care received for my beautiful Bengal cat earlier this year, who unfortunately past away minutes before I could get him there after another vet missed a fatal diagnosis only 2 weeks previously. The staff member I spoke to on the phone in this emergency knew exactly what was happening, very knowledgeable staff who were able to explain what had happened really helped me to take in and understand. “Our dog was involved on an accident. I rushed to the vet, and was met with an urgent, caring response . The poor animal was seen within minutes, and was treated immediately, while the reception staff dealt with a distraught owner. Thankfully our dog is well on the road to recovery. A huge thank you to the team in Westbury.”

“Absolutely lovely, caring, accommodating, cat-friendly staff that really care about their fuzzy patients. I brought one of my cats to this branch for the first time this afternoon, and unfortunately she became incredibly stressed when we arrived and seemed to be having a panic attack. They immediately recognised that she was distressed, and whisked us into a quiet exam room and out of the waiting area. After her examination and diagnosis, the vet made sure we had as much time as we needed to sit in the room quietly by ourselves and calm (her) down before the journey home. The vet brought her a bowl of water in case she was thirsty, and turned up the air conditioner to help cool her off. Was really impressed by how much everyone cared about her and went above and beyond to make sure she was OK and as comfortable as possible. Five stars! I’d give them six if I could!”

“We had three cats for 16 years. They always went to Beeches. They have always been very helpful and flexible to give our cats the best care. When my cats unfortunately had to be put down due to health issues they made it as painless as possible and now offer free service to get paw and nose prints which are such a cute.”
