Excellent vetinary practice with friendly and professional staff. I'm really pleased with the Garston Vets Wellness Plan for our dog.
I’ve been with this practice for 45 years (previously Glenleigh) and in the past I have said that I wouldn’t go anywhere else but after recent visits to Garstons Trowbridge I have been disappointed, in particular with the lack of detail given on the invoices. If we were paying an invoice from a garage, electrician or plumber we would expect to see detail of what we were being charged for. The vet will have created an entry on the animals record so the hard work has already been done. For an insurance purposes that detail would have to be entered on the claim, so why doesn’t Garstons include the detail on invoices as well. Surely the paying customer is entitled to have something in writing?

Staff are always very welcoming and the vets allow plenty of time to answer questions or give advise, I have never struggled to get an appointment and have always had excellent service.
I was a veterinary nurse in the US, so when my husband and I decided to adopt two kittens, I took my time choosing a vet practice. I looked at multiple websites, reviews, offered services, etc…and decided on Garston. This is an incredible veterinary hospital. The receptionists, nurses, and veterinarian are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and compassionate. My boys were neutered today, and we just picked them up. Sophie, the nurse who did our intake and discharge made the process both easy and seamless, and the boys were absolutely cared for extremely well during their surgery and stay in the hospital. I’ve dealt with, and worked in, many veterinary practices over the years, and I’m very very happy we chose Garston to be our vet.

Missed the appointment for my puppies to have their second vaccination. Even though the practice had a full appointment list they still got my puppies in on the day. Brilliant. Thank you Di.

On picking up the ashes which of our much loved cat Treacle who we had cremated and placed in a casket me and my wife were quite clearly upset and the young receptionist who was dealing with us was giving us a bit of time to process our loss when the older receptionist abruptly said that we had to pay obviously we knew that we had to pay but she didn't even give me a chance to get my card out to pay then realising that she had abruptly overridden the young receptionist who was clearly embarrassed started to try and make small talk this not the way to treat people who have lost a beloved pet because if it wasn't for people like us caring about their pets she would not have a job .
