“I always have a great experience at these vets- they’ve very approachable with friendly staff and I always feel that my cat Rascal is well looked after and is in good hands.”
“Welcoming, friendly, put our little man, Dixon, right at ease when he came in. Our vet was straight in for the kisses which instantly won him over and we were in and out in no time. We went solely to get a tapeworm sign off for his passport for travel back to Ireland and were treated very well. Highly recommend this vet! Update: we have been back time and again and we can't fault them!”
“We had an absolutely lovely vet look at our Frank very friendly and fantastic with Frank ........Archways absolutely 5 star !!!!!!!”
“Best vets ever. They actually really care about your pets. Litrally saved my Danes life last week. Staff are amazing and they are excellent on charging as well. After spending dreadful time with Rowe vets for many years just wanting to grab your money and treat you and you pet very poorly, this has been a godsend and the best change for our family of animals. Thank you to Ken and the staff.”
“Always seen promptly. Reception staff & nurses are friendly. Vet Richard Kirby is very caring with Bonnie she is relaxed with him and he informs us of any treatment at every step. Would highly recommend Rowes at Wotton-under-Edge.”
“I had to call last night as my 17 year old cat was acting really out of character. I couldn't get through to the Monmouth branch, the phones were doing some strange things, so I rang the Coleford branch to ask if they knew if Monmouth was open and the phone lines ok. They were really great in contacting Monmouth on my behalf and checking a vet would be present to see my cat within the next 40 minutes. I took her down and sadly we came to the decision that it would be the most kind option to put her down there and then. The vet acted and spoke incredibly sensitively, and explained how things would go and my options afterwards. Upon leaving, the reception staff were just as kind and I absolutely couldn't fault any of the team I dealt with across the two branches yesterday. I'm so grateful for their kindness and their willingness to help. Coleford could very well have told me to keep trying the line myself but they did what they could to ensure my cat was seen quickly.”
“Cristina and the whole team are just outstanding. The care and compassion, yet considered and balanced advice given is so valuable. The empathy shown by Cristina with my old Alfie cat last week was touching, a wonderful team all round, thank you”
“Have a elderly cat who last week got a infected tail thinks he is still a young man very active but not cooperative or helpful they handled him brilliantly he's well on the mend many thanks”
“Been coming to Bowbridge for the last four years. Have always had excellent veterinary care for my dog. Never too much trouble and always put the welfare of the patient first. Very reasonably priced. Hugo knows he always gets a treat/fuss from the receptionist, hence he loves going there!”
“Always helpful and thoughtful staff welcome us. The vets have always been friendly, informative and gentle with our kitties! Highly recommend this vet.”
“Five stars from us for all the staff at Garden Vets. Prompt service consistently and our pooch is seen promptly when she needs it. We like the reminders for tablets etc - and when we run out they prepare everything within a day for collection. We highly recommend.”
“Just taken my girl Sphynx in for a spay and have been so impressed with the care she received. I’m new to Westbury so have been so pleased to find such a caring vet. They were so understanding too of me being the nervous cat mum over my girl’s operation! I highly recommend them.”
“My experience today was of a really understanding Receptionist and vet.My cat needed medication and I was listened to sympathetically.”
“Bentley is not a happy dog with strangers. He’s a lock down dog and freightened of strangers. Your, vet Lucy Hayes, had endless patience with him and together we managed to finish his annual check up. Well done Lucy.”
“When I got my hamster I thought it was worthwhile registering her at a vets as not every vet will deal with hamsters. Forward 18 months and our girl was very poorly (part old age/part tumour came when we suddenly found blood) so we rang at 11:30 at night for emergency vets and they said to come straight down. Thats when they found the lump and gave us the bad news. It cost £158 for consultation and meds and a scan, and keep in mind this is now midnight, I didnt mind paying for help with our girl. Another 2 weeks and she went rapidly downhill again so again we went back at midnight sent her for her forever sleep. All I can say is the vets were brilliant and very sympathetic at a time I was devastated. Very happy to recommend. Today we even got a lovely 'in sympathy' card is the post which was very unexpected.”
“I can’t thank Woods Vets enough for saving my spaniel Humphrey’s life. When he became ill, we were told there wasn’t much chance of recovery, but the amazing team cared for him 24/7 for a whole week and never gave up on him. They treated Humphrey as if he were their own and showed him so much love and kindness. They are so dedicated and compassionate, and skilled. Because of Woods Vets, Humphrey is still here, happy and full of life. I’ll never forget what they did for him and how much they cared. I’ll always be forever grateful.”
“During a stressful experience, we can't thank the whole team enough for their, time understanding and support from the moment we made the call about our injured cat, arriving for consultation, to the surgery, through to collecting one of our beautiful moggies after requiring treatment. You must be very proud to work as such a great team. He has had a good night's sleep and well on the road to recovery. Ps...the cat nip spray I purchased is working a treat! Thank you so much :)”
“Very kind and helpful staff, low cost treatment approve next day and seen quickly. Many thanks to all”
“The staff were incredibly kind, understanding and respectful. They helped so much with my gerbil and even sent a thoughtful card in the post after he passed away. Thankyou so much for helping us in this difficult time, and for helping Merry keep his dignity.”
“After our beautiful cat, Grace, passed away from terminal cancer, Garston Vets were understanding and respectful. They sent my husband and I a bereavement card, with a packet of wild seeds attached. So that we can scatter them, as a reminder of our loss. I also asked for paw prints and cutting of her fur, which they did, even putting her colours into separate vials (white, black & ginger). My cat box, towel and throw were also returned to us. The staff were brilliant, at this sad time. And for that reason, I am giving them a 5 star rating.”
“The building is a bit shabby around the edges, but never judge a book by it's cover has rarely been more appropriate. I have never trusted a vet more, both in the care they provide for my pets and most refreshingly in the prices. Everyone I have dealt with there has been warm and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.”
“I’m sorry you are getting bad reviews from the community for something out of your control. If they only knew the amount of animals that always need help… and to shame us for not being able to help? Shame on them as “good samaritans” for not offering to pay the bill. Someone has to be financially responsible. When your car breaks down, we don’t expect the maniac shop to do labor and parts at no cost just because the car means something to someone. It’s called LIFE. Same goes for human care… someone always is responsible. #NOMV”
“I always receive an excellent service. My dog loves coming here. In fact it is difficult to walk past without being dragged in by my dog to say hello.”
“We used George Vets as an emergency while we were on holiday in The Cotswolds. They were absolutely wonderful and our dog received excellent care, despite them not being our regular vets. Everyone we dealt with from the vets in Tetbury and the hospital in Malmesbury, were so kind and reassuring. They also accepted our Many Pets insurance policy, so the whole process was seamless. We cannot thank them enough for being there for us at a very difficult time, and were happy to get the best possible outcome.”
“I receive honest answer to my questions from friendly and helpful vets that have my cats best interests at heart. Other vet practices I have used seem to care more about you spending as much money as possible but Hale are not like that. I have 2 cats I take to Hale and find them very good with both of them, providing honest advice. I would recommend.”
“Really grateful to Carly who completed a CT scan on our Greyhound as part of a referral from our vet practice. Our own practice's communication was very poor - if it were not for Carly I think we would have been having an even more distressing time!”
“Our dog was involved on an accident. I rushed to the vet, and was met with an urgent, caring response . The poor animal was seen within minutes, and was treated immediately, while the reception staff dealt with a distraught owner. Thankfully our dog is well on the road to recovery. A huge thank you to the team in Westbury.”
“Friendly staff always welcoming and never make you feel you are making a fuss about a much loved pet.”
“Great friendly vets and staff. I've got a slightly nervous dog and feel I can take him in confident that he's not going to be put in a position where he might kick off. Vets always provide clear and honest feedback about his health which will hopefully prevent any conditions arsing.”
“This place does great things to ensure everyone can own a pet. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Had loads of notices to keep you informed as well as lots of leaflets”
