This is an exceptional vet practice and absolutely worth the extra miles I travel to bring my dogs to Bellevue where they are treated as individual patients. The unhurried, considered and detailed consultation, the skill and knowledge and wonderful kindness they receive makes them relaxed and happy to be handled. If only all vets were as good!
Bellevue vets are a great place to go with your pets. Very helpful and friendly from reception staff to veterinary staff. Really lovely quiet place so calming for your animals. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice.
I took my poorly little cat. They managed to find time for us in rush on a Saturday morning. They were extremely good to us. They gave me time to sit with my cat whilst she died in my arms. They didn't rush me and I now have some bits to remind me of her. They also took the time to call me in the week following to see how I was doing. If I get another cat then I'll be taking them to Bellevue. I can't thank them enough for the kindness they showed me.
Welcoming, friendly, put our little man, Dixon, right at ease when he came in. Our vet was straight in for the kisses which instantly won him over and we were in and out in no time. We went solely to get a tapeworm sign off for his passport for travel back to Ireland and were treated very well. Highly recommend this vet! Update: we have been back time and again and we can't fault them!
My somewhat senior (9 years), 2 kilo, chihuahua needed urgent dental care. They had to remove 17 teeth, but thankfully didn't use propofyl. She wasn't even groggy at pick up, and they used a special LED healing wand on the gums. She was back to normal inside of 4 days. Amazing recovery! Thank you. ❤️

Bellevue is a fantastic Veterinary Clinic. Our dogs. are very well looked after and. we get all the information we ask for. Also, very. friendly staff.
We were staying near Frome on a holiday and our 11 year old springer became lame. Fortunately, we managed to get a same day appointment at the Bellevue clinic. Upon arrival we were made extremely welcome by the reception team and looked after very well indeed, considering we were not local nor a regular customer to the practice. Karen, the vet, also welcomed us , and gave our dog a thorough examination, diagnosing the issue and prescribing the appropriate medication. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and we were absolutely impressed with her knowledge and professionalism - an absolute credit to the profession and the practice. I believe we gained more information and knowledge from her in 20 minutes than we have done in a long time. They also ensured that the notes were emailed back to our regular vet. I can’t praise this clinic enough and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone that required the services of a vet. First class - thank you!
I have taken my dogs to Bellevue for 4 years. They are brilliant. Warm & accommodating people and they have had excellent care throughout. Morris & Norm, the dogs, and I, actually enjoy going to the vets. When I get a bit emotional when something needs doing they are very understanding of this slightly mad behaviour! First time for us at the vet practice. Having been recommended by several friends, i gave it a go. They did not disappoint. From the reception team to Dan the vet him self. My dog is a rescue and can become very nervous ,especially with covid and not being able to go in with her. Dan put us at ease 110%, he handled our dog with kindness and made sure everything was discussed at length. Dan answered questions and showed real empathy. Nothing seemed too much trouble . We have now totally moved to this practice. Cant recomneded highly enough ! Thank you :).
