“We've known Angie for several years now (as a friend and colleague) and when a while back we discovered she did dog walking, we cheekily asked her if she could look after our cats whilst on holiday. We're so glad we did because it turns out she's a cat lover as well! What's fantastic is that even though our two cats (Orientals) are quite shy and sensitive, they now completely trust her. From any update she sends whilst carrying out her visits, we can tell they are receiving loving care and know they are being looked after as if they were her own. In summary, Angie is extremely thorough, dedicated, reliable, trustworthy and always caring”

“They are so very kind and caring with the digs, my Cairn terrier gets excited when we arrive. It's the only groomers that trims him in a proper Cairn style. Highly recommend as the best!”

“After our beautiful cat, Grace, passed away from terminal cancer, Garston Vets were understanding and respectful. They sent my husband and I a bereavement card, with a packet of wild seeds attached. So that we can scatter them, as a reminder of our loss. I also asked for paw prints and cutting of her fur, which they did, even putting her colours into separate vials (white, black & ginger). My cat box, towel and throw were also returned to us. The staff were brilliant, at this sad time. And for that reason, I am giving them a 5 star rating.”

“Popped in while on holiday back in October and I am so sad I am not local so I can pop back in when I need anything for my dogs! We were made to feel so welcome and we left with a giant octopus that my elderly dog adores! He snoozes by it most days!”

“Visited Lungi Babas today in Frome and, hand to God, had the best South Indian food so far in the UK. It was all home-cooked, the vibe was fantastic and the owner, Mahesh, is such a delight to talk to. We had been craving authentic Dosas, and what we were presented with was exceptionally good. For a person like me who enjoys eating as well as cooking Indian food, the food at Lungi Babas was a treat!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If you are in Frome, do not miss out on this, as it made our day and also our trip to Frome worthwhile.”

“Highly recommend a visit, really well stocked for a small store, all good quality gear and treats. We bought a new canicross harness and life vest and both were tested to check they fit properly and I learned some really useful tips while chatting. Ill definitely be making the drive to come back next time we need a new harness!”

“An excellent shop with even better staff. This shop houses a wide variety of vaporizer parts, liquids and kits. Accompanied by a lovely coffee and excellent customer service. You really couldn't ask for more. I am currently trying to quit smoking and have been interested in using a vape as an alternative. After many hours of research I was simply left more confused than when I started looking however after ten minutes with Jonah I feel much more confident. He was able to explain the differences between the wide variety of options and even recommend the best type of vaporizers, coils and liquids for my specific needs. This was such a breath of fresh air after multiple other local shops didn't seem to want to waste the time of day discussing these things and simply told me what I should do in a brash and rude manner. The service was outstanding from the second I entered the door I was greeted in a warm and pleasant manner and was dealt with in such a way until I left. I will most definitley be using this as a regular service and recommending it to friends and family. 10/10 Service.”

“The Fromeway is truly a gem! We’ve felt so comfortable here the past couple days. Breakfasts with Hannah have been hot and delish. And the fish and chips has been the best we’ve had on our trip. Love the cozy little pub and the beers are ice cold. I could sit there for hours. If you’re here on a Sunday I’m telling you don’t miss the Sunday Roast dinner. It was absolutely amazing (see last pic)!”

“A homely, inspiring retreat with excellent facilities and great attention to detail. The coziest Soho House I’ve visited! Very dog-friendly, with fantastic Cowshed treatments—but it would be even better if the Cowshed had its own proper sauna and steam room. The pool area isn’t warm enough, making it cold to walk between facilities, especially in winter. The outdoor wood-fired sauna is absolutely amazing, though the door could use better insulation. Food is superb, and in-room breakfast is a highlight. Don’t miss the cookies at turndown—an absolute must! Also, renting wellies for exploring the beautiful countryside trails is a great touch!”

“Welcoming, friendly, put our little man, Dixon, right at ease when he came in. Our vet was straight in for the kisses which instantly won him over and we were in and out in no time. We went solely to get a tapeworm sign off for his passport for travel back to Ireland and were treated very well. Highly recommend this vet! Update: we have been back time and again and we can't fault them!”

“Easy parking, Big animal area but not too big for toddlers to get around. Nice play park area with slides and forts to climb. Plenty of picnic benches to eat snacks. Really this place is just perfect for younger children. Nice staff too. Will definitely make this a regular place to visit ☺️”

Spotless pen, relaxed cat who clearly felt comfortable really fast with his environment and the friendly and efficient team of Diana and Erica. Accommodating with our requests for our cat's 'special needs', and the best test of all: a happy and relaxed cat at the end of a fortnight stay, his longest ever - and he is an indoor cat who becomes easily nervous around other cats and unfamiliar territory. “This practice is amazing. My grandmother is very nervous of vets due to some back experiences in the past. After calling on her behalf of my grandmother, we were seen the same day and with such welcome. The receptionist was great and the vets were just 10/10! Max who is a rescue and normally very scared of people, purred away and seemed very content with the fuss he was getting. “We had two lovely meals here whilst staying in the village. Everyone was very friendly. The Sunday roast was one of the best we have had and the homemade icecream was to die for. You do need to book because they get very busy.”

“This is a lovely place to break a long journey and enjoy a tasty lunch. Extensive menu, including sandwiches, pizzas (yummy yum) and more. Great range of ciders too. Large garden with plenty of tables - some overlooking the canal.”

“I couldn’t recommend Nicola highly enough! She’s professional, knowledgeable and amazing with our puppy. She sends me updates on how he’s doing after a visit and replies to messages quickly. You can tell that Nicola loves her job and I feel really happy leaving my puppy in her care.”

“Ordered a harness for my 10 week old puppy and I couldn’t be any happier! I was unsure on sizing but the websites useful sizing guide made it easier to find the perfect size for my pooch. My harness arrived 24hrs after I placed the order and was the correct size and just perfect for my puppy. The range of designs made it near impossible to decide on just one! Being so close to and being able to ride the horses made my children's day. Brookover is a great base for visiting all the local attractions. 100% recommended.”
