“We have been very pleased to be able to trust Sharn to look after our dogs and cats whilst we have been away. She also affectionately calls our dogs 'the bears'. We have a very positive and amicable relationship and communication between ourselves is effective at all times, which includes discussions around our needs and timings needed but also regular updates and photos when we are away. We feel it is reassuring to know that someone is there to check in and keep company to our pets whilst we are not at home. Sharn is also a huge pet lover and our animals definitely feel this connection with her. She gives them plenty of affection, and it is clear that my pets enjoy when she comes round to stay with them. This is definitely the kind of approach that we are looking for when leaving our pets to go on holiday, someone we can trust and who also became part of the pet's environment, with the reassurance that everything is under control! Finally, we always appreciate the little extra things that Sharn does like picking up parcels or cleaning up the cat litter tray. A first rate service in our opinion!”

“Clean and tidy, great host, fantastic Japanese breakfast of Rice and Miso. Easy to deal with, flexible. What all B&B experiences should be like. Perfect place to stay if going to Bath races, 5mins in a taxi.”

“Amazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If you’re looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.”

“We stayed at Bath Townhouse this weekend as a party of 7 hens and 1 bride to be, on the ground floor. What a fabulous place it is! It's in a really central location, so we could get to all the places we needed to within 5-10 mins on foot. It has chic decor, plenty of room and an awesome "cavern" area for parties. We were given everything we needed as well. The beds are so comfy I fell asleep immediately!! A must stay if you're going to Bath in a big group. Thank you for hosting us!”

“Nav drove us from Bath to Gatwick. We were so thankful he was able to accommodate as the notice we gave was fairly short. Knowing the service we booked was guaranteed gave us peace of mind. We had great conversation and really enjoyed the trip! He was so thoughtful even checking our flight schedule to make sure everything was still on time for us.”

“Such kind and caring staff, especially Luke and Leslie who always take such good care and are so gentle with my pets. They are also so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. I always know my pets are in good hands at Bath Veterinary Centre. Bath Veterinary Centre provides an animal centred, good value and honest service. I really can't recommend them enough and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Thank you all for your hard work!”

“I can’t thank Dr. Kate and nurse Katie enough for the incredible care they gave my cat, Pop Chip. Also I want to thank the lovely Raven, a care assistant, who was working reception that day - she took the time to explain how it would all work, even though she was juggling lots of tasks! They performed a very thorough dental procedure on Pops, and I’m in awe of the quality of their work — his stitches are so neat and tidy, especially considering how small and delicate the area is. It’s a work of artistry and precision! Pop Chip is not the easiest patient - he’s extremely anxious and fearful of people after being rescued from an abusive home by the RSPCA last year. We only adopted him not long ago too. Despite this, Dr. Kate and nurse Katie handled him with such patience and kindness. They even managed to take blood from his tiny veins and wrangle him back into his carrier, which is no small feat! He’s recovering well from his tooth extractions, and I felt completely supported thanks to the detailed post-op care instructions they provided. I honestly couldn’t have wished for better dental work or more compassionate care. Thank you so much for looking after my little guy so well!”

“Wow. I took my very sick cat here. I got the most exceptional help from the vet Lucie. She was so kind and helpful, and sympathetic to the difficult situation I faced with a sick pet. I cannot imagine someone more helpful! That is not to say that the cat is better (it's not) but at least I feel that I have had very good advice. I would strongly recommend Lucie to anyone facing this kind of challenge.”

“Happy Hounds is a great daycare setting for dogs. Sue and Sally look after my dog on a Monday each week, they are really great and good communication after each session with any potential issues or just feedback on a great day. The setting itself is ideal for the dogs, a lovely big bit of space and a cabin area for a bit of a lunchtime nap! Also great value for money, would highly recommend.”

“I took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“We stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.”

“Lovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!”

“Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!”

“Absolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. Thanks for the birthday cookies!”

“Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?”

“Lovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.”

“We cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.”

“As a family we could not recommended this practice more highly. We had a medical emergency with our dog and they were so reassuring, making an appt within a very short time. In my 50 years visiting vets I have not experienced such an unhurried focused appointment. We learned so much about the health and body of our little dog and felt totally confident and reassured by her diagnosis and treatment. The welcome was so warm and our little was happy in the reception and the vet so detailed and gentle with her examination. She’s on the road to recovery now a big thank you to the whole team. Absolutely wonderful Thank you all.”

“Booked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.”
