Really great hotel and great location. Beautiful decor. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. We stayed with our dog and nothing was too much effort. Especially liked the doggy bed with treats waiting in the room when we arrived. Weβll be talking about our stay at The Francis Hotel for a long time. Looking forward to our next stay!

Absolutely superb from startbto finish. Met by the gentleman doorman...reception staff were brilliant. Stunning room and incredible facilities. Loved the smooth radio station on in the room to arrive to. Great bar staff, excellent service, just wish we had the time to have had our evening meal there. Perfect location. Historic and so well maintained. The breakfast was second to none. Highly Highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Francis hotel Bath. We accidentally booked one of the busiest days of the year, a rugby game was on and the start of Christmas festivities! The hotel was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see, lots of restaurants close by, the breakfast was fantastic and felt quite fancy. Our room was lovely, although we almost needed a compass to navigate the up, down around and across. The guests that checked in before us had lost their room which we found odd till we realised how hard it could be! Lovely very old fancy hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, couldnβt fault a single thing. Room was very comfortable and spacious considering we had booked the cosy room. I borrowed straighteners from the reception which was a lovely offering in addition to hairdryer. Welcome drink in the bar was great on the Friday night and we went back on Saturday as the atmosphere was so lovely. Perfect location and beautifully decorated too! Would recommend to anyone staying in Bath.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely, subtle and modern decor training the building charm. The bedroom was very clean and well designed. Sockets in the right place which makes it much more comfortable to get ready. Dinner was good. We only stayed one night would have liked to stay longer. Would definitely recommend, local to town for shopping.

This is an excellent hotel, with helpful and attentive staff. It is ideally situated for you to walk to all of Bath's many (many) attractions. It is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are of a decent side. Highly recommended. However, there are a few issues. (1) The hotel charged Β£20.00/day to park. (2) We paid Β£19.00 for a coffee and a gin, a tad dear. BTW they have a table in the restaurant that sits in the shadow of a full size model horse. Extraordinary.

Excellent Hotel in the most perfect central location in Bath. I've walked past this hotel for absolutely years. Though had never been inside until this week. I asked if the hotel was open to non residents & was very pleased to discover that it was. I like drinking quality fine red wine. The wine list had an intensive good selection of excellent fine wines of all varieties. Paul, the barman was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines that they sold. He was extremely helpful & friendly. The wine that I chose was a Louis Jadot 2020. An excellent choice, rich & full of flavour. Very good value for money. I've paid more money & received less alcohol in the Harvey Nichols bar in Bristol. All the staff were friendly, the service I received was impeccable. Although I wasn't a resident. I was made to feel at home. I'll definitely visit again. I highly recommend this hotel. If I could give this hotel 10 stars β I would.

My room was spacious, clean and airy. The AC was great. In all I had a comfortable stay and slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't use any of the hotel facilities on my stay but I give 5 stars for a good room and great location.

A nice clean hotel. Homely and very attentive staff. Take care with the breakfast though because the front desk will encourage you to take the very nice full, but piggy, breakfast at Β£17.50. They won't tell you that if you wait to see the menu in the morning you'll see that the continental breakfast is available at lower cost.

Very professional, good service, clean room although cars driving passed during the night and seagulls in the early hours did wake me up with the windows closed. We decided to have the breakfast in the morning which was lovely however the staff were very pushy about payment, and gave us the bill before weβd even started eating and then went to get the card machine before we had even finished. We then weβre asked AGAIN on the way out of the breakfast room if we had paid by another member of staff, all polite but the repetitiveness of this part ruined the breakfast, that would make me not eat in your restaurant in future.
