βI cannot recommend Lara Taylor from Reside Bath highly enough. She has been kind, professional, responsive, and genuinely a joy to work with throughout the entire process. Having rented in major cities like New York and London, Iβve dealt with many letting agents, but Lara is truly in a league of her own. She is a big reason why I ultimately chose the property I did in Bath (even though I had other options). She went above and beyond to make what could have been a stressful and bureaucratic process feel smooth, straightforward, and even enjoyable. Renting a new home should be exciting, and Lara ensured that it stayed that way by handling every detail with care and efficiency. Not only is she a pleasure to speak with, but she is also a real asset to her office. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about herβif youβre lucky enough to work with Lara, youβll see exactly what I mean!β
βIt was incredibly fun, cleverly spooky, and genuinely entertaining. We wandered through the city at night, exploring corners with eerie stories and legends that made Bath feel magical and mysterious. What truly made the experience outstanding was the guideβs amazing sense of humour and storytelling skills. The way he narrated each story kept us hooked suspenseful when it needed to be, and absolutely hilarious when we least expected it. You could tell he loved what he was doing, and that energy was contagious. The atmosphere was friendly despite the creepy stories, and the guide made an effort to interact with everyone in the group, which added a personal and engaging touch. I laughed so much and still learned quite a bit about the city's dark history in the most entertaining way possible. Whether you're into ghost stories or not, this is a must-do experience in Bath. Iβd definitely do it again. Itβs a perfect mix of local legend, humour, and theatrical fun. If you're looking for something different, this tour will absolutely surprise you.β
βLovely traditional room. Great view. Special attentions for our dog, dog box (ball, treats, biscuits, poo bags), as well as a bed he loved and food bowls. Needed an earlier breakfast, which was no problem. Jean-Luc was very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of Bath!β
βA truly 5-star experience as a tenant. I lived in my flat for 3.5 years and can confidently say that every interaction with Bath Property Shop was exceptional. Any issues were resolved promptly β a level of service rarely seen in my 15 years of renting. Communication was always clear and professional throughout my tenancy. Highly recommended!β
βJust arrived home following a 2 night stay at the Bath House which is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The service (breakfast being served in our room!), comfort, hospitality and facilities, to name but a few things, are second to none. The attention to detail was exceptional and Kelly and John were wonderful hosts. I had mentioned in passing when booking that the trip was to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday and when we were shown to our room we were amazed to see the mirrors in our room had been decorated with birthday balloons and a banner. That's service 'going beyond the extra mile'! I cannot praise them enough and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to all! Thank you for a wonderful stayβ
βI took my friend here for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and the whole experience was an absolute delight! The building and dining room are beautiful and all the staff were so thoughtful and attentive. The afternoon tea itself was really lovely and the food was delicious. My friend was really impressed with her vegan afternoon tea as well. A really nice touch was the unexpected complimentary glasses of prosecco as a birthday treat! 10/10 would definitely recommend!β
βMartin & Co Bath have been exceptional in helping me to sell my property. David was my contact throughout the process and was always chasing both sets of conveyancing solicitors to keep things moving! He kept me informed and was always polite and courteous.β
βWe found all the staff at Andrews, Bear Flat welcoming and knowledgeable. Sophia who ultimately handled our sale is a consummate professional, a good listener, and empathetic to her clients' needs. Her gentle manner is combined with steely determination and she will go that extra mile to get the job done. If you want to sell your house you can rely on Sophia to get the best deal for you.β
βWe stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.β
βI've only stayed for one night but I was very happy with choosing this place. It is clean and the room was lovely. The staff was very nice. If ever in Bath again, I will consider staying here.β
βHomewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldnβt praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! βAbsolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. Thanks for the birthday cookies!β
βLovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.β
βWe had a wonderful 2 night stay at your hotel. Hotel was great, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Location was great. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive which every bus went into city centre. Thank you to all the staff.β
β6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. Itβs the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok β¦ downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.β
βI donβt normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.β
βWe cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.β
βLovely site, all staff so friendly and facilities top quality. Shower rooms so clean and warm. Looking forward to our next visitβ
βAmazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to parkβ
βA last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.β
βBooked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.β
βAn absolutely fantastic venue and staff! My daughter got Married here in December & we couldnβt have asked for more! Everything was perfect & the staff did a marvellous job through the weekend! A special mention to Jenna who braved the rain with drinks while the last photos were taken! Youβre a star!!β
βWe recently had a wonderful stay at The Bath Priory Hotel whilst visiting our eldest at University. The location was perfect β peaceful yet only a short walk into town. Our room was spacious and luxurious, with views of the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was delicious, though service was a little on the slow side unfortunately. A special mention to the gardener, who truly made our stay memorable. She took the time to show us around parts of the garden, shared her incredible knowledge, helped carry our bags to the car, and even picked a few flowers for my husband and I as we left. Such a thoughtful gesture β weβll never forget. We both said how refreshing it was to meet such a kind & enthusiastic young person. The facilities at the Spa were well maintained, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. A perfect place to unwind β we look forward to coming back again.β
βThe hotel is in a perfect spot, easy to find and close to everything. It was spotless throughout, which made our stay feel comfortable and relaxed. A special mention must go to Shannon on the front desk, who made such a wonderful first impression. She greeted us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a bright smile that instantly made us feel welcome. Itβs rare to meet someone who combines friendliness with such efficiency, she really set the tone for our stay. Shannon is a real credit to the team and made all the difference to our experience.β
βAbsolutely superb from startbto finish. Met by the gentleman doorman...reception staff were brilliant. Stunning room and incredible facilities. Loved the smooth radio station on in the room to arrive to. Great bar staff, excellent service, just wish we had the time to have had our evening meal there. Perfect location. Historic and so well maintained. The breakfast was second to none. Highly Highly recommend it.β
βWe had a wonderful stay! We originally booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the best suite in the hotel β and the hospitality was truly exceptional from start to finish. There were lovely little touches waiting for us when we arrived, and when we returned from dinner, we found a thoughtful box of cheeses, the curtains drawn, and the bed beautifully prepared for the night. The hotelβs location is very central, which meant it could be a little busy and noisy at times, but the mattress was so comfortable that we still had one of the best nights of sleep weβve ever had in a hotel! We also booked massage treatments and spent time enjoying the spa facilities β both were absolutely amazing. Every member of staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay special. It was such a memorable experience, and weβll definitely return when visiting Bath again β or perhaps try one of their other properties elsewhere.β
βFab stay - rooms beautifully decorated and clean. Locations right in the middle of town and easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was great value and loved the little details like the pillow spray in the room. Would definitely stay again.β
βFirst class, we received excellent service, from the bar to the restaurant. We were well looked after, the wine was excellent and the food delicious, can recommend the sea bass as well as the lamb. The food was cooked to order and arrived hot. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will dine here again.β
βStayed at Mr Darcy's House for my hen do and we all had an amazing time. The house was perfect for a hen do and we loved used the basement bunk room space for the evenings. The house was clean and nicely decorated and I would highly recommend it. Minnie was so helpful over email and there were nice special touches on our arrival which made it feel really special!β
βWe stayed at Bath Townhouse this weekend as a party of 7 hens and 1 bride to be, on the ground floor. What a fabulous place it is! It's in a really central location, so we could get to all the places we needed to within 5-10 mins on foot. It has chic decor, plenty of room and an awesome "cavern" area for parties. We were given everything we needed as well. The beds are so comfy I fell asleep immediately!! A must stay if you're going to Bath in a big group. Thank you for hosting us!β
