We stayed for three nights in our motorhome and can't wait to return. The staff are very friendly, the site is incredibly well kept and facilities great. They seem to have thought of everything. Toilets and showers are fantastic! Regularly cleaned, the only issue I can imagine during busy periods would be not enough.

This is just amazing. Exactly what we wanted. A weekend away from the city in solace with nature. A nice little retreat and very peaceful, clean and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly. Short walk to the lake; although you don’t get to dip your feet’s in. Advice you have a bicycle as that helps you cover more area. Local shops and pubs are great. It has been an amazing experience and sure would visit again.

A fabulous campsite with clearly committed, polite and hard working staff who keep the whole site in pristine condition. The little tractor that they move the caravans to the pitches with is a brilliant idea. You can take your car to your pitch should you need to unload and then move it to a car park which is just a short walk from most pitches. The shower and toilet facilities are excellent and kept very clean. This is our second visit and we love it. The area is delightful with much to explore. Peaceful and lovely. Thank you, we will be back.

Just returned home from a week stay at this delightful caravan park. You instantly feel the tranquility surrounding this very pretty site. The site is very central to the Somerset area and also plenty of walks from the site itself. The wardens are among the best we have come across. We had a problem with our van and Dave couldn't have been more helpful, he really saved the day allowing us to enjoy our holiday fully. A very clean well cared for site which we highly recommend. Thank you.

When we arrived we weren't greeted with an hello welcome to our site. No we got you are early and aren't suppose to be here til 2pm. Then bombarded with do and dont rules . The pitch we were show had no one in it so don't understand why it was such a problem. We sat on our pitch for all of 15 minutes and decided not to stay. Put a real damper on our weekend as I had paid for the pitch. If this is how they talk to people I'm surprised they are still open. Rude and unwelcoming and will definitely won't be recommending this site to friends or family

Stayed for a week end October beautiful quiet site. Immaculate showers etc. Friendly helpful staff. Good spot for touring and exploring the area. Downside is some airport noise but not directly overhead.

This is an exceptional site - first you are warmly greeted & then they tow your caravan to your pitch & site it for you - how wonderful! The pitches are all private & large & all around the site is impeccably looked after - the private facilities were spotlessly clean & a real luxury - amazing laundry facilities and information for local area. This really is a super site & we have already booked a return visit. Thank you to everyone at Chew Valley for all your hard work its evident everywhere.

If you're after a quiet adults only site, then this would be the ideal place. The showers are brilliant, the site is very tidy and well kept, the staff are friendly and helpful. The village of Bishop's Sutton is only a 10 minute walk away with shop and Red Lion pub which does excellent food and is reasonably priced for drinks, very friendly attentive staff and nothing is too much trouble. Great walks, and local bus to Bristol and Bath.

Genuine 5 star site. Booking in simple. Grounds immaculately maintained, pitches are good sized and well spaced. Individual toilets/showers spotlessly clean. Access/exit roads are narrow with overhanging shrubbery Ok for camper van. but motorhomes and caravans should take extra care. Icing on cake would be able to select pitch when booking!! Totally recommend
