“Absolutely amazing stay, cannot fault the staff. Nothing is to much trouble. So friendly from morning until night. The food is incredible. (Ex chef and the steak is the best I have tasted in years) They involved the kids and adults in their entertainment and gave good prizes. Off park things to do within 10 minutes either direction. For anyone looking for a relaxing family stay then this is the place.”
“What an experience - amazing! Highly recommended, the whole thing was really well done and the staff were brilliant.”
“As a 17 year old, this was the first trip I had unsupervised by parents and oh my was it one to remember. It was such a lovely place and the owner Tim was so lovely, friendly and generous. It was the best camping trip that I’ve ever had”
“A very nice campsite within easy walking distance of the gorge, restaurants and pubs. Facilities are good with thankfully non push button showers (Yippee!) Just make sure you turn them off once you have finished. Little shop on site too. Nice walk along the riverside path for our dog. Not too far away from the beach at Burnham on Sea and other areas along that coast.”
“Lovely, peaceful site. Not to big and very quiet. Lakeside pitch is ideal. Grounds and facilities are kept pristine. Back again. Amazing coronation weekend. Bev pulled out all the stops and organised a great party. Totally unexpected but well worth it. Plenty of dog walks offsite within 5 mins driving. Various takeaways and supermarkets all within easy drive. All in all it’s still a lovely site run by lovely people. 13 July 2025. Back again. Nothings changed. The site is still as quiet and peaceful as it’s always been. Bev works hard and it shows. Really great site. Added bonus, Riches Cider Farm 10 mins down the road, do a great takeaway Sunday carvery”
“Great site for visiting Bristol and all it has to offer. It’s a small site with dated facilities but there’s always plenty of hot water. The atmosphere is good with lots of lovely trees and access to Cumberland Basin is through the back gate. The pub next door is always busy but a good place to sit and watch the world go by. It’s a real shame that the site will permanently close soon as the wardens have worked hard to maintain the site. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful to us during our stay and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”
“Had a fantastic intermediate surf lesson, special thanks to Jules who is both a brilliant coach and all-round inspiration!! Facilities are great and tons of equipment for rent. Very clean and fantastic friendly vibe. Bring your skateboard if you have one We returned a week later to spend some money in the cafe + surf shop but was told it was a £2 charge per person for the pleasure. We politely declined, but were disappointed to have to return home without a holiday memento”
“Had a lovey few days at Watersmeet, very peaceful. Great location for North Somerset attractions. Friendly owners, clean facilities, level spacious pitches. We also had some beautiful sunsets. Will definitely stay again.”
“Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.”
