We stayed at the campsite in our motorhome for the Christmas Market. Can easily walk into town along the river or catch the bus from the park and ride which is an easy short walk away. There is a good pub just next to the park and ride, there is another one on the walk into town. We hardly spent any time on site, our pitch was riverside, which was nice. One big failing of the campsite is the facilities, one toilet block was completely out of action for one day of our stay, poor for one of the most expensive sites we have ever stayed at.

After trying to find a campsite to visit the Bath Christmas Market, I’m relieved we were only booked in for two nights. While the site itself looks passable and the pitches are acceptable, the facilities are completely unacceptable. At Ā£40 per night, the standard of the amenities is disgraceful. They are run-down, dirty, and foul-smelling, and have clearly been neglected for some time. The showers are extremely small and flood badly, leaving you standing in inches of water. It is obvious the facilities are not cleaned or maintained properly. Leaking urinals with urine pooled underneath them were present when we arrived and were still there when we left, which is completely unhygienic and frankly revolting. I’m not sure why this place has so clearly gone downhill, but there needs to be rapid improvement. I do not find the level of cleaning acceptable, nor is it okay for the cleaning sheet to be signed first thing in the morning claiming the facilities have been checked four times that day when this is clearly not the case. This site is massively overpriced for what it offers and falls far short of even basic expectations. A huge disappointment and a wasted opportunity for what could otherwise be a decent campsite.

Great location if you're looking to visit Bath. Flat walk along river and canal or take the park and ride bus which is close by. The site is nothing special in my view. Facilities are tired, and little or no maintenance seems to be happening but it has everything you need and the staff at reception are accommodating. Unlikely to stay here again but for a low season weekend the site was full, so I don't think that matters to them too much.

Very peaceful site on the riverbank. Really cool relaxed vibe. Walk into Bath is flat and pleasant, shared with lots of runners and cyclists. Facilities could be better but just shabby rather than bad, and were clean when I was there. Would use again, good city campsite.

Unfortunately we hoped for more here for the price we paid (Ā£64 for two nights) - there was no sign of staff or the reception and shop being open. The pitch was ok but quite close to the next pitch so privacy felt like it could be an issue. The toilet and shower blocks were heated and clean enough but the shower cubicles are far too small (I'm not particularly large and it was hard to bend down without touching all walls of the shower!). It's great that you can walk into Bath from the site but it's still a good 45 minute walk and a lot of that walk is quite industrial. I can also validate that like other reviews there is a lack of security around the site as there is open access from public paths. As a result of all of the above, we'd be unlikely to return.

Site was quiet as expected in January. Staff were helpful. The tiolets & shower block were adequate. Two pubs within walking distance and both were dog friendly. The site is a short walk from the local Park & Ride bus station so was convenient for visiting Bath City. The site is next to the river which I imagine in the summer would provide a great walk or cycle along the towpath. If we ever visit Bath again I am sure we will return to this site.

Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.

A fantastic site for visiting nearby Bath. Firstly the location is absolutely fantastic. Easy access off the main road into Bath with pedestrian access to the canal walks. You could take a gentle stroll (approx 45-60minutes) into Bath along the banks of the River Avon, or as we did walk

I've stayed at this campsite many times over the last eight years and although it's only ever had basic amenities they were clean and usable. Since the new owners have taken over , there has a dramatic decline in cleanliness to the shower blocks to the point I personally would not use the facilities due to mould , mildew ,grime and a unpleasant smell of urine. The site is in a fantastic location for visiting Bath but the overall maintenance and up of the site needs addressing.
