“This was a fantastic secluded beautiful spot set up in a way where you felt that you were on your own. The yurts were well set up with power and the outdoor kitchen was well stocked with pans etc and a fridge. We would definitely return. Neily the host, was welcoming, attentive and responsive to what we needed. Location was near by car to Glastonbury, Welles. Highly recommend!”
“This campsite has it all! We loved our stay, excellent facilities that are immaculately maintained, great location, lovely friendly people. We will return and will recommend to others. I know it's all on the website anyway but we found the fridges and huge freezer really helpful for storing a few bits. Play facilities conveniently located in the middle of the campsite, good distance away from tents so not noisy but you can easily keep an eye on your kids. There's a washing machine there too and the woodfired pizzas that you can buy on Fridays and Saturdays were really good. We also recommend the pub the mill at rode, a few minutes away. Loads of great days out to be had, we enjoyed wookeyhole and trips to Frome, Wells and Shepton Mallet prison!”
“I wish I could give Paul and the Wild Goose team more stars! Beautiful cabins in a fantastic spot next to the Thatchers brewery. We were so well looked after by Paul and his team - he helped us with the setup for a party, put a cot in, and lent us equipment too. The cabins are beautiful with some thoughtful extra touches, and were very well provisioned with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. A brilliant weekend.”
“Lovely site. Facilities are pretty basic or ecologically friendly but clean. Loads of room. A handmade bench, table and fire pit on each pitch. Best of all free fresh eggs on a morning.”
“Great location and huge shout out to Dave who came to check in with us on arrival and tell us about the site and local area. When we needed a fire pit and another bag of wood later on he had no issues with promptly coming to us. The site is lovely and peaceful and we will definitely be back.”
“We had a fantastic family break at Peppers Lodge and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The lodge is pure luxury — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable escape. It sleeps four perfectly and strikes the perfect balance between cosy and spacious. A real home away from home. The private hot tub was a real highlight — ideal for unwinding after a busy day of exploring and local activities. The peaceful setting made it feel like a true retreat, while still being close to local attractions and amenities. What made our stay even more special was that other family members were just across the way in Sleights Lodge, another luxury lodge. It was so lovely having them nearby — we could spend time together easily, while still enjoying our own space and privacy. From the high-quality furnishings to the thoughtful touches throughout, everything had a real feel of comfort and class. We felt right at home and thoroughly pampered. We’re already looking forward to our next visit, none of us wanted to leave. Highly recommend for families, couples, or friends looking for a luxurious and relaxing break with just the right amount of togetherness.”
“Absolutely lovely place. Would live to come back. Would need to arrnage ealy check in and late check out though as it was needed”
“Great clean campsite. Hot showers toilets microwave freezer kettle etc. Very friendly and helpful owners. Never too busy for a chat. Feels really homely. Extremely quiet site. Really good phone signal. Be staying here regular as I travel a lot for work Price is good Ceri morris from south wales uk.”
“Site is lovely. Staff very friendly with a lovely view at the top of the camp site. Toilet and shower blocks are lovely and clear perfect for anyone concerned about hygiene. Only issue is ground can be very hard with lots of stone under the grass making pegs very difficult.”
“Great little camp site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Showers were amazing. Good water pressure and very clean. Toilets spotless. Great little park for the kids and lush orchard walks. Fire pit hire was great little touch. Only downside is the noise from the road, kept me awake as I'm not used to it.”
“As a 17 year old, this was the first trip I had unsupervised by parents and oh my was it one to remember. It was such a lovely place and the owner Tim was so lovely, friendly and generous. It was the best camping trip that I’ve ever had”
“We have spend a wonderful 2 months with Euroresorts on Alannia Costa Blanca last February and March (2025). The mobile home was perfect. Clean, relatively new, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a livingroom with kitchen. Gas stove with 4 burners, so perfect for our cooking ;-) Preferrably we would have liked to have a little bigger bathroom/shower, but we have managed well. Clean towels and bed linnen every week to collect, and that was really nice. Sales and aftersales/customer service has been great. Very responsive and helpfull, all to just make sure we were accommodated prior to and during our stay. We also loved Alannia Costa Blanca. Very well equiped camp site, with loads of things to do on site and off site. Wonderful swimming pool, great spa, and very useful supermarket for fresh bread and the things you might have forgotten to buy end need at the minute. Good and relatively safe biking or hiking opportunities around the site. Long story short, we have already booked again for next year, and we can really recommend Euroresorts and Alannia Costa Blanca.”
“A very nice campsite within easy walking distance of the gorge, restaurants and pubs. Facilities are good with thankfully non push button showers (Yippee!) Just make sure you turn them off once you have finished. Little shop on site too. Nice walk along the riverside path for our dog. Not too far away from the beach at Burnham on Sea and other areas along that coast.”
“Lovely campsite. Just the basics, but done really well. Site was immaculate and beautifully done, with short grass around the edge for camping and long grass in the middle of the field for wildlife. Saw various birds of prey, including a barn owl. Lovely walks with steam trains, great views, rivers and plenty of pubs along route. Already looking forward to visiting again!”
“Great site for visiting Bristol and all it has to offer. It’s a small site with dated facilities but there’s always plenty of hot water. The atmosphere is good with lots of lovely trees and access to Cumberland Basin is through the back gate. The pub next door is always busy but a good place to sit and watch the world go by. It’s a real shame that the site will permanently close soon as the wardens have worked hard to maintain the site. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful to us during our stay and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”
“Lovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.”
“Lovely site, all staff so friendly and facilities top quality. Shower rooms so clean and warm. Looking forward to our next visit”
“Lovely, peaceful site. Not to big and very quiet. Lakeside pitch is ideal. Grounds and facilities are kept pristine. Back again. Amazing coronation weekend. Bev pulled out all the stops and organised a great party. Totally unexpected but well worth it. Plenty of dog walks offsite within 5 mins driving. Various takeaways and supermarkets all within easy drive. All in all it’s still a lovely site run by lovely people. 13 July 2025. Back again. Nothings changed. The site is still as quiet and peaceful as it’s always been. Bev works hard and it shows. Really great site. Added bonus, Riches Cider Farm 10 mins down the road, do a great takeaway Sunday carvery”
“Absolutely perfect site so accessible to everywhere we walked into Burnham-on-Sea from here it's about 3 mile walk very pleasant very handy for McDonald's Greggs Aldi across the road yes very nice site”
“We stayed for 3 weekday nights in a nice quiet room on the first floor. Lovely poster bed. The staff were all really friendly and helpful especially Zoe who looked after us for breakfast. Thank you for your help with regards to where to visit and gluten free options. My only criticism is the TV is too small in the room and could be better placed above the chest of drawers. Otherwise very happy”
“We've just returned after spending the weekend at Lower Mill Estate for my wife's birthday and it was absolutely wonderful! The property we stayed in, Howells Mere 95, was nothing short of stunning. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views that surrounded us. The house itself was beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped – it really felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub, which the kids absolutely adored. They also loved the swimming pool in the wellness centre – it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The facilities on the estate are top-notch, and there's a real sense of peace and tranquility that makes it the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. We truly had the best time and can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning for another stay. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly retreat or a peaceful escape, Lower Mill Estate is the perfect choice.”
“Check in and departure were good. Villa and rooms were good. Facilities and activities were fun and well organised. Restaurants were good. In room dining was barely ok, wrong order delivered and the hotdogs were not the best. In room pool table cloth was ripped. First aid services were excellent. Security was excellent (especially Gary). Spa was excellent (especially Annette).”
“Had a fantastic intermediate surf lesson, special thanks to Jules who is both a brilliant coach and all-round inspiration!! Facilities are great and tons of equipment for rent. Very clean and fantastic friendly vibe. Bring your skateboard if you have one We returned a week later to spend some money in the cafe + surf shop but was told it was a £2 charge per person for the pleasure. We politely declined, but were disappointed to have to return home without a holiday memento”
“Amazing experience! Perfect setting. Perfect location. We stayed in Dolly; tidy, clean and nicely equipped with all amenities. Hot tub was fantastic, I would recommend lighting on Friday if you’re staying the weekend, it gets very hot and was just right for Saturday morning and stays hot. Jane was the perfect host, showed us to the accommodation when we arrived, along with some recommendation. We went swimming in Cromhall Quarry which was a wonderful experience, 100% recommend doing this, but make sure you have a personal buoyancy aid as you can’t swim without one.”
“What an experience - amazing! Highly recommended, the whole thing was really well done and the staff were brilliant.”
“Beautiful location. Lodges are perfect. Holiday on the 15th March. Hard frosts morning and that made the fishing very hard. Did catch 4 carp over the week and 60+ roach on the last day using maggots.”
“A lovely motorhome site for quiet stops and rallies. Owners are lovely and friendly. Basic services, grey waste, elsan and water. No hookups or hard standings. Pub with food & bus routes within walking distance.”
“A lovely site , very peaceful, lots of room to pitch on grass. Very friendly Owners can't do enough for you. A good pub a mile and a half down the lane in Range worthy (Rose & Crown) excellent Sunday lunch. Would recommend the site wholeheartedly.”
“Spent a wonderful week at Cheddar Woods, the cabins were clean and well equipped for a self catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had a hot tub, which was wonderful and hot, and a fake fire place which heats up quickly. The heating and hot water was brilliant, as was the water pressure. There was a heated pool, which again was clean and open mornings and afternoon. There was walks, and Cheddar Gorge is close by. We took a walk down, but take the longer route as it has a path! The staff were friendly, it was great for kids they have a little arcade with cheap £1 rides and a playground outside the restaurant. We didn’t eat in there, but the food looked good. I recommend the fresh milk from the shop, it is delicious. It is a great location, and in beautiful woods. We will be back!”
“I’ve had lessons with 4 coaches recently and they’ve all been amazing. Super kind, helpful and bringing great energy. The lessons at the wave are the best way to progress in your surfing. Stringer, Sonny and Charlie during one lesson, helped my partner become confident enough to try the next step up. Ben was awesome on the advanced coaching. Helpful, considered, constructive advice that lead to me having the best session I’ve had.”
