“Extremely well organised site - right from booking on the phone, to arrival. Met by owner with welcome pack and taken through facilities and shown to pitch. Facilities are 5* - loved the little touches like hand towels and toiletries.”
“Just spectacular. This is my favourite campsite I've ever visited. 15 acres of beautiful woodland, pitch a tent where you please. Choosing where to pitch is a lot of fun - we were down by the stream, and it was great to hear the water flowing. There are facilities up at the entrance by the car park, toilets, a warm shower, sink to wash up. But this is a spot primarily to get back to nature a bit. Scavenging your own fire wood is great fun (although you can buy some or bring your own if you wish). Very friendly and helpful owner / manager - Ian even helped me change a flat tyre. Couldn't recommend this place enough!”
“The site is wonderfully situated. Real down to earth setup. Plunge pool fed by rainwater sits next to an amazing waterfall, big overhead fan assistance in the communal area to keep the bugs away. Brilliant idea. Each site wonderfully surrounded by willows for a real sense of privacy The 2 saunas are spotless and superb! The facilities are just right, 3 w/c shower rooms, washing and recycling facilities all excellent. Oh! I almost forgot the bath tub! This is installed between the waterfall and the plunge pool and fed from the same stream. Brilliant.”
“Stayed at Corffe house with my family for my 70th birthday. It is an amazing place, that bit of luxury that everyone needs and wants from time to time. When we arrived Jon was there to meet us and to talk through everything we might want. The rooms were very grand, and great that we all had our own bathrooms. The facilities of the house were excellent. Swimming pool was a great plus, cinema room came in to its own, boys watching a movie while the adults had a pool competition. Boys also had great time running in the fields and playing on the assault course. Position of the house was great, quiet with easy access to many attractions. We had one of the best breaks ever. Thank you.”
“Large welcoming site. Clean toilet block and showers. We were delayed due to a fuel leak and arrived in the dark. The owners were brilliant, and met us at reception. The site has a restaurant/cafe that open until 9pm so we were able to eat after a long stressful day”
“Cafe was fantastic for a start and finish point on our walk. Great food and drink with lots of options on the menu and wonderful friendly service from a great guy - part of a family business. Would come again.”
“Fantastic break with our daughter and family. We were very happy with the accommodation upon arrival. The buggy hire making it easier to get around. Great indoor swimming and slides. Good selection of food and drink venues. The crowning glory for me was after having an accident on my invalid scooter, the first aiders and security team were fantastic at treating me and getting me to the local hospital. The following day receiving a card and some goodies wishing me a swift recovery. Excellent. Cannot fault Bluestone”
“Probably the best campsite we’ve ever been on. Amazing location with beautiful scenery and great views. Facilities are second to none with numerous immaculate toilet and shower blocks that were always available at peak times. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to the beach is via a very steep stony walk so be prepared with good footwear. We were in a motorhome on a lovely large hard standing pitch with electric and a fire pit and picnic bench provided. Excellent all round, can’t wait to come back.”
“It was mine and my gf first time camping and I can now say we both loved it thanks to this site! We were both apprehensive of how the showers etc would be but you can’t beat it. Everything was clean and in use and the showers were nice and warm. Onsite there is also a pizza bus , the pizza was good and not a bad price either , I think they were open till 9 ish which is good as well. Overall Great facilities and will definitely visit again One word of warning is that there is no onsite shop and the nearest shop it down the hill which isn’t an issue but they are quite expensive and don’t really have much. So id say stack up on everything before you go as there aren’t many shops around.”
“Second time we have stayed here and had a lovely time, very clean facilities and welcoming staff. It is so central to so many places we were only here for 4 nights so spent all our time on Gower. Recommend Langland brasserie and super Sunday lunch at Oxwich Bay Hotel, if you want extra special food experience try Beach House Oxwich it's sublime. Only comment about Gowerton site is maybe a second toilet block could be considered ,when it's at full capacity there's sometimes a wait for showers but don't let this put you off.”
“One of the best hostels I've stayed, has everything you need for a good night's sleep. De host Cathryn was absolutely wonderfull.”
“Easy to get to location, great base for exploring further afield, wonderful scenic views . Please note this is a caravan park and we were staying in a caravan. There’s a club house on the site serving drinks and nice food and it’s got WiFi. The signal where we were was poor to non existent. There’s also a shop on site too.”
“Brilliant campsite, kids loved the forest and zip line. Well maintained field for pitching tents, Marie was never far away to help and brought firewood/fire pit when needed (Also helped start our fire when we were struggling haha) Toilets were clean and tidy and not far for the kids to walk to. Nice base with Porthcawls beaches nearby, 10/10”
“We had a great stay at this campsite. Owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is beautifully tucked away on a hillside with incredible views and sunsets. Lots of space for kids to play ball games and lots of woodland for them to explore. Atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. The eco friendly Facilities were clean, spacious, not smelly and shower was hot. Would definitely return.”
“WOW, the cleanest place iv ever stayed. Got everything, even things I thought I didn't need. Lovely complementary milk tea coffee bathroom toiletries welsh cakes draws are full of surprises. Came to stay for work purposes and after a hard day it's like a home from home.. can't say 1 bad thing about this place it's so well maintained and loved.. definitely recommend for family, couples...”
“Just come back after a great weekend. The pitches were large and plenty of room for us to set up with friends. We eat and drunk up the clubhouse and found the prices were very reasonable. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the entertainment was really good.”
“The entertainment team are honestly one of the if not the best team we have experienced at all the sites we have been to. They were amazing with our 2 year old. Pop fuzz and Kelsey were 2 of the best holiday entertainment shows we have witnessed in 15 years according to my dad and they go abroad to big holiday resorts 2/3 times a year Tots week was amazing so much to do and the troupers were great with all the kids”
“I love this campsite stayed there many many times, its exactly as described on their web site.Only a 5 minute walk to children's play area,a easy 10 minute walk to the beach/ sea front, shops, super markets, fun fair, restaurants.Owner has always been very friendly.”
