“Love this beach, so big and even though lots of dog walkers about there was more than enough space. Perfect for the dogs. No signal so had to drive about 10 minutes to use the app. Didn’t realise though they the parking machine was contactless.”
“A great historic civic facility. Lovely mature trees and well kept foot paths in a beautifully balanced landscape. The café at the heart of the park has great coffee, and the tennis courts were in use on the day of our visit... On today's visit we had a flat white and a vegan sausage roll from the cafe. Perfect break for a dog walk... Went down to the park today to check out the table tennis table. Our bats and balls arrived today...”
“Pretty nice park, well maintained l trekking paths, there were maps at front gate. Some play area for kids and few lakes, plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the nature. Kids took the bikes which was a nice experience for them.”
“What a fantastic place! Great beach only a stones throw away from the campsite, and there’s plenty of activities to do for the family. The park team are brilliant, and a big shout to the ski team who had our kids confidently skiing within a week, them having never done it before. Great as a base also from trips to the Tenby, Mumbles and the Gower. Can’t recommend enough.”
“The park is located almost in the centre of Swansea. It has newly built children play area which is very safe for the kids. The park has a huge lake in the centre, with lots of swans, ducks and seagulls. The park is maintained very well with lots of seating arrangements. The grass is also maintained very well. It has got multiple entry from all the sides. You will see lots of kids playing during their vacation and also a lot of families come for a small get-together. It also has a store which offer tea coffee, ice creams, soft drinks, croissants, and many more things. It also has the toilet facilities in the park, it is nice and clean. You will surely breathe a nice and clean air and will also enjoy the walk. Overall it’s a good place to spend time alone or with your family. You will really enjoy your time in the park. Recommend for all age group.”
“Absolutely love it here brought my baby niece up she had so much even thou it rained we made the most of it had so much fun”
“Margam Park is truly a gem. The grounds are breathtaking, with sweeping lawns, peaceful woodlands, and landscaped gardens that feel like something out of a fairytale. The historic castle stands proudly at the heart of the estate, its striking architecture making it a stunning focal point for any visit. The Orangery is absolutely beautiful—filled with natural light and surrounded by incredible views, it has a timeless charm that makes it feel so special. We love it so much that we’ll be getting married there in 2027, and we can’t imagine a more perfect setting.”
“Always a beautiful place to visit, great for taking the children to feed the Swans and ducks on the lake, the beach is only minutes walk from there, and if you fancy stopping off at the Sandpiper for food or a drink there is a children's play area inside and out weather dependent, stunning outside seating overlooking the lake, all you could need for a great day.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the park. The new building is looking absolutely fab. Loved all the sculptors in the woods we spent time to take photos. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed it to”
“We ordered chicken fillet burger, chicken wings, tandoori and all chicken pizza. Good quality tasty Food, Clean premises, and very reasonable price I must say. And of course, the owner was a lovely hardworking person.”
“A fantastic day out. Park was extremely quite which is a shame but all staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drenched was closed until 2pm when it did then open. We took our own food so can't comment on quality of food however prices did seem a bit high for what was on offer. The park has had some basic work done to it since my last visit a few years ago. Although more is needed to improve the overall appearance of the park. With a new area and roller coaster due to open later this year hopefully there will be a increase in guest numbers. Overall a great visit with lots of rides due to no queues. The annual pass is a fair price for what's on offer and after 4-5 visits the cost of the pass has been covered. With the new A road built nearby getting to the park is much easier.”
“Probably the best campsite we’ve ever been on. Amazing location with beautiful scenery and great views. Facilities are second to none with numerous immaculate toilet and shower blocks that were always available at peak times. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to the beach is via a very steep stony walk so be prepared with good footwear. We were in a motorhome on a lovely large hard standing pitch with electric and a fire pit and picnic bench provided. Excellent all round, can’t wait to come back.”
“Absolutely lovely park, nice and open with plenty of nature to boot and plenty of room to explore, sit and relax. Not to mention for bird watching! Many interesting birds from Ravens to Thrush! The only problem is during/following downfall there can be some areas which become pooled with water due to insufficient drainage methods”
“Nice safe area for a walk. Plenty of parking on a weekday. Building and construction works ongoing at the time but there’s a nice cafe and toilets in a temporary cabin with seating outside. Children’s play area and plenty of open space for picnics and there’s marked out proper paths to walk around the lake as well as some woodland trails.”
“Plenty of paid parking available. Lovely cafe and park for children. Variety of routes within the park, dog friendly and some pram friendly too. In winter, not much wildlife to see, but still a lovely walk.”
“It was mine and my gf first time camping and I can now say we both loved it thanks to this site! We were both apprehensive of how the showers etc would be but you can’t beat it. Everything was clean and in use and the showers were nice and warm. Onsite there is also a pizza bus , the pizza was good and not a bad price either , I think they were open till 9 ish which is good as well. Overall Great facilities and will definitely visit again One word of warning is that there is no onsite shop and the nearest shop it down the hill which isn’t an issue but they are quite expensive and don’t really have much. So id say stack up on everything before you go as there aren’t many shops around.”
“I had the most lovely experience visiting this amazing natural space in Neath. The area of the park is huge, I spent more than 4 hours walking there and still left many areas without exploring them. The lake brought me back memories of the movie The Lake House! that's how beautiful and romantic this is, please take your dog with you if you're coming here, he will thank you later. The Park was almost empty today because it was raining so much but I didn't care I actually think the experience under the rain was even better. I'm coming back soon.”
“Craig Gwladys is right on our doorstep. Free parking with Lots of area to explore. Lots of fresh water streams, which is ideal for dogs.. I'd recommend packing a picnic bag and enjoy exploring the vast area.”
“I'm on holiday from Leeds England. I found this hidden gem. Lovely people & lovely friendly dogs. Nice walk.”
“I parked here to walk over and along the beach. I love an ever diminishing free parking place. So for this alone, the place was amazing. But if I return in a year; I'd expect a minimum £1.50/1 hour, £3.00/2 hours. **Very big sigh**”
“Great place for dog walkers, runners and some trails are suitable for horse riders (look out for the signs). Some paths are wheelchair accessible, there are quite a mix of rough and firm paths to explore. There are plenty of seats dotted around to rest when needed or just to take in the view. Remember to keep your dog on a lead unless they have great recall, and carry plenty of poo bags please.”
“Easy to get to location, great base for exploring further afield, wonderful scenic views . Please note this is a caravan park and we were staying in a caravan. There’s a club house on the site serving drinks and nice food and it’s got WiFi. The signal where we were was poor to non existent. There’s also a shop on site too.”
“Nice little park for kids to play, with a café and public restrooms just around the corner.”
“This park looks a spitting image of the Microsoft Windows background picture. A nice place to take a stroll, there are some dog walkers around, but otherwise it is quite empty.”
“The Blue Lagoon is a fantastic indoor water park exclusively for residents, offering fun for all ages. The wave machine and lazy river are big hits, providing excitement whether you want to splash around or relax. There are excellent slides for older kids and a safe, dedicated toddler area with smaller slides and toys, making it great for families. The pool is warm and inviting, fully monitored by plenty of attentive lifeguards to ensure safety. Access is easy and secure using your door card. With plenty of seating for spectators and a nearby café, it’s a brilliant spot for family fun, rain or shine.”
“Overall a lovely park to enjoy in Port Talbot. Shame about the kids playpark as it's always a bit grubby and litter lying around. The grounds are pleasant and relatively clean and well kept. Shame to see the bandstand just left to ruin. Hopefully something will be done with it soon.”
“Great day out for the Bank Holiday Show.”
“Very easy to find, perfect as it was right next to the event I was doing, Llanelli half marathon! Ideal to pre pay parking the night before”
“We tend to use this as an afternoon activity on our way home from Pembrokeshire. The waterpark is a great place to spend a couple of hours swimming, bobbing around and sliding. The master blaster always has the longest queue but we've never waited more than about 15 minutes in line. We love the waves and the lazy river too. It's a firm family favourite for us.”
“Great space! Full of great activities and a decent price. Quiet and clean today when taking my 3 year old. Much better facilities and space than buzz Trampoline Park in llansamlet”
