“We used this location as a half way point to meet up with potential dog sitters and their dog. It's really a beautiful location and thankfully all 5 dogs were happily playing and sniffing. From the first communication to checking after that we had enjoyed our time there, everything was perfect. Lots of safe space to explore, fresh drinking water, poo bags and bins, paddling pools, agility equipment and toys. There is also a shelter but we went on a lovely sunny day so enjoyed the fields. Jane met us and explained everything, she is fabulous lady. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great experience x”

    Bluerose Dog Park

“I brought Raven for the first time yesterday and she absolutely loved it! There is plenty of equipment to help build your dogs confidence and there is also a hut for shelter and drink facilities to help yourself. The field is really great for training as there are lots of farm sounds that you wouldn't experience on an ordinary walk so it's a good opportunity to get the dog used to sounds in a safe secure environment. There is also enough distance between the 2 fields that would make this good for reactive dogs. We came on a really rainy day but the field was very well kept and not very muddy at all! There is also a shop which i am yet to go in but I understand they sell eggs ect Safe to say we will absolutely be back.”

The park is well-maintained, with clean paths, lovely gardens, and plenty of places to sit. There’s a nice mix of open areas, trees, and a small lake that attracts ducks and birds. “I can't believe I've never been here before and it's only a few miles from home. There are some lovely walks, lakes with swans and ducks on and the motorway! The further you get into the woods the less you hear the motorway noise. Well worth a visit to enjoy nature and recharge your batteries. There are toilets in the courtyard by the tearoom and others near the cycle hire place. The tearoom is lovely and the staff are too. They're very friendly and accommodating.”

“Aztec Adventure Upton Warren is a hidden gem for anyone who loves the water. We tried both the sailing and the water park, and they were incredible! The sailing instructors were friendly, patient, and made learning the basics feel easy and fun — even for beginners. Out on the lake, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but safe. The inflatable water park was pure chaos in the best way possible — giant slides, climbing walls, and obstacle courses that had us laughing non-stop (and occasionally falling in). Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and safety was clearly a priority. Staff were welcoming from start to finish, and the whole place had a great family-friendly vibe. Whether you’re after a chilled afternoon sailing or an energetic splash session, this place delivers. Highly recommended!”

“What a lovely diverse park! There is a complete mix of landscaped parklands, wildflower meadows, small woodlands, and a mixture of ponds. Access is easy. There are a whole number of tarmac routes - perfect for gentle strolls and those either less able or with push chairs to enjoy this lovely place and for those that want a path a little less travelled, then there are plenty of grass rides, open meadows and paths weaving between the woods. This place is both dog and child friendly ❤️”

“Amazing place! I deem this to be the park to find most wildlife in Birmingham I found herons egrets a rabbit a woodpecker mice tadpoles tiny frogs big frogs a fox and even a crayfish? And in the good weather seasons I take a walk here every evening! I even feed ducks and found adorable baby ducks coots moorhens and swans! This place used to have geese but now I don't know where they are.. But that's ok... there are also berries that grow here they're pretty sweet! And apples! But.. the apples never seem to ripe.”

“Beautiful huge park, fantastic viewing area for Birmingham airport, literally at the end of the runway where the planes are taking off soaring just a few hundred feet above your head! There's a stream runs through the middle with an abundance of wildlife and at the far end a small children's farm, with pigs, cattle, donkeys and horses to name but a few. There's a children's play area, a tea room, selling lovely cakes, cookies, hot and cold food and drinks, ice creams etc Best of all parking is free, the farm is free too! We spent a lovely four hours wandering around but is definitely worth a day out to explore the wooded paths that lead off in all directions. Excellent!”

“I've recently been traveling to many of the green spaces around North Birmingham in search of wildlife. Although this is a small country park, the abundance of wildlife is there to see. Today I have Blackcap, Long Tailed Tit, Buzzard, Whitethroat, Parakeets, Chiffchaffs (all in my photos) other birds I have seen on my walk include, Goldfinches, Robins, Wrens, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Magpies, Crows and I heard that a muntjac deer was seen today as well. Newhall Valley Country Park is a hidden paradise in an urban area.”
