It was a beautiful easy walk covered in light snow through the forest. I totally loved it, not too much inclination, which makes it perfect for all abilities.
Excellent space for a long walk, beautiful scenery and awesome if you wanna go mushroom picking for culinary mushrooms and the fun type. I found a massive kings Bolete Mushroom and was able to eat half which was delicious and sell the other half for £40!!!! It's also a great space for wildlife photography and just getting away
Lickey Hills Country Park is a lovely place to relax and unwind. It’s perfect for spending quality time with family and friends, whether you want to enjoy a picnic, go for a walk, or simply take in the fresh air. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful, with plenty of open space and beautiful natural surroundings. A great spot for a day out.
We had a great time. They have a nice play area for the children, swings, slide and more. Green grass everywhere, great for picnics and relaxing outside. Nice clean toliet facilities, changing room and disabled access. As we were travelling with kids with walked the yellow trail, would advise to wear suitable foot wear, the trail is roughly 45 minutes. If you have a Stroller, I would advice making a sure you have someone with you, as there are afew steps you may need help with. I would definitely go again.
Very beautiful scenic walk. 3 different trails to follow. Yellow for short walk. Blue trail for about an hour walk. And red for a longer walk. Only downside is no cafe for a hot cuppa. There is about 4 tables and some chairs inside. Lots of space for picnic outside. The playground is not very big but the kids had fun cuz of the zip line.
Our first walk and talk monthly walks 1.8 miles of walking struggled abit in some areas following the squirrel trail over tree roots and rocks but team work we made it. Lovely views with a park at end of trail where the children on the walk really enjoyed. Cafe ONLY EXCEPTS CASH. But it is too expensive so I recommend bringing your own snakes or picnic. Car park charges will apply soon (such a shame). Not sure of when.
Beautiful walks and views!! Brought my grandson, daughter and friends for a forage in the woods. There's plenty of walking trails to follow, smaller ones or longer ones deep into the terrain. There is a fabulous park with a small person play area and a bigger child play area with climbing frames, swings and a modern seesaw. The visitor centre offers toilet facilities, food and refreshments, though its worth noting they seem to only accept cash which is ridiculous in these times!! Dont get caught out like we did after a long walk, not even being able to get a nice hot drink or food! It also gets really busy in the summer. There are lots of volunteers keeping the park open and safe for visitors so please respect and support them while out and about, getting dogs on leads and litter in your bags until you find a bin.
Gorgeous country park with plenty of area to walk if you fancy a stomp about and also lovely areas to sit for a picnic. Visitors center is great for some snacks and nibbles and also have toilets available for use.
A great outdoors walking experience. Views every which way you look. The rough stone paths weave in and out of wooded areas and reveal the local landscape. The Rover car plant, reservoirs and golf courses can be seen and if it’s clear easily 10 miles distant. Too crowded (last days if the Easter holidays) for me to enjoy the visitor center in my wheelchair so that will be for my next visit. The car parks are rough and so too are the main paths, but it is not too uncomfortable to navigate slowly. On a dry day it is well worth trying the main paths in a chair. Go careful and take care.
Always a pleasure to be here. We have long walks into the wood, hiking and playing enjoying the fresh air, having picnics. We charge our batteries for days just being here.
