“I can’t say enough amazing things about them. They’re absolutely incredible — caring, reliable, and truly invested in the dog’s happiness. My dog is always excited for her walks and comes home so content and well taken care of. They’re super adaptable, responsive, and genuinely treat her like their own.”
“Chris is incredibly talented and always gives the best advice. Have had multiple tattoos with Chris and each time they’ve come out perfect! Would recommend a million percent! Thank you Chris for making us feel at home and for your brilliant work :-)”
“A lovely green place to sit, lots of seating throughout the garden. Appears very well kept.”
“Bushy Park is one of those places that feels both vast and welcoming at the same time. The sheer size of the park makes it perfect for long, leisurely walks, cycling, or simply finding a quiet corner to sit and enjoy nature. Families often spread out picnic blankets under the wide-open skies, and it’s easy to see why—it’s peaceful, spacious, and filled with plenty of scenic spots to relax. There are deer roaming freely, which adds to the charm, and the open grasslands make it a natural playground for kids to run around. Beyond the open space, Bushy Park has a real family-friendly feel. There are designated kids’ play areas, making it a great spot for little ones to burn off energy, while fishing in certain ponds attracts hobbyists looking for a calm afternoon by the water. Food is available at nearby cafés, so you don’t have to worry if you forget the picnic basket. Altogether, it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole day—whether you’re exploring, relaxing, or just soaking up the calm atmosphere with family and friends.”
“Greenwich Park is one of London’s oldest royal parks, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the River Thames. It features beautiful gardens, ancient trees, and the famous Royal Observatory, home to the Prime Meridian line. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walking paths, picnic areas, and wildlife spotting. The park also hosts events and provides a perfect spot for relaxation, exercise, and learning about Britain’s rich history in astronomy and navigation. It’s a must-see green oasis in the heart of historic Greenwich.”
“Lovely lake with a footpath around it. Easily pushchair and wheelchair accessible from the car park. Lots of wildlife, wildflowers, wildfowl and flowering water lilies to be seen. Benches to sit all the way around and a couple of picnic tables too. Footpaths leading off into Epping forest.”
“Amazing playground. My family visited on a Friday late afternoon during half term. This place is a melting pot of multinationals, all co-existing peacefully and happily. That is why this part of London is so special”
“Visited a resident here and they had a view that overlooked these gardens and the Guildhall of Music. Residents here get to walk about this whole complex, listen to the music from the Guildhall etc. The steps up to the apartments, though, are like something from a Michael Cain movie!”
“I feel so fortunate to live near such a beautiful place and its amazing to have such a large slice of nature with deer roaming around withing London. Equally beautiful in every season and perfect place for dog walking. Also seems to be better managed in recent years with upgraded cafes, improved signs and traffic control measures.”
“Great place for little ones to practice their push bike, scooter or skateboarding skills. You could see kids as little as 3 year olds on their scooters as well as adults on the skate boards. We came early and it was already packed. Still would highly recommend.”
“Went in for breakfast, nice warm welcome from staff. Good choice of breakfast items and paninis. We ordered the nibbles and classic breakfasts and they didn't disappoint. Excellent quality and all cooked beautifully, really tasty. We loved the interior with the butchers counter and deli. Bought some items from the butcher who was so friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely return if in the area and would recommend.”
“Large playground with something to suit all ages. Does get very busy during holidays but it’s easily accessible in the park with a small steam train next door one side and a splash park the other. Also there is a nice and friendly cafe next to the park with hot or cold food.”
“There’s no need to describe the taste — just try it and see for yourself. The flavor is truly excellent! Plus, the place is very clean, hygienic, and the staff are wonderfully friendly. Definitely number one.””
“Specialty coffee, rustic, warm and welcoming vibes. Don, the owner is such a nice dude. Coffee is excellent. Homemade tiramisu really good too!”
“Verulamium Park in St Albans is a lovely mix of open green spaces, rich Roman history, and fun activities for all ages. You can stroll by the peaceful lake, explore ancient ruins like the Roman wall and mosaic floor, or enjoy the children’s playground and splash park. It is a great spot for families, picnics, and relaxed afternoons surrounded by nature and heritage.”
“Stunning, the entire walk around the lake is wonderfully beautiful. I would highly recommend coming here if you're wanting a walk, a nice place to go as a couple, a picnic or for photography. Lovely place.”
“Hampton Court Park (Home Park), England I was absolutely impressed and mesmerized by Hampton Court Park (Home Park). This expansive 750-acre park is a haven of natural beauty and tranquility. Walking through the vast open spaces, surrounded by ancient trees and serene water features, felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat far removed from the bustle of everyday life. The Long Water Canal, stretching elegantly through the park, took my breath away with its reflections of the sky and surrounding greenery. The sight of deer grazing freely in the meadows added a magical touch to the experience, making it feel like a scene out of a storybook. With the cool weather, the park became even more inviting. It was the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll, a quiet moment of reflection, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. The combination of crisp air, peaceful surroundings, and stunning views made every step feel refreshing and inspiring. Hampton Court Park truly left a lasting impression on me. It’s not just a park; it’s a place where nature’s beauty and history come together to create a remarkable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene and breathtaking escape near London. This season is ideal for leisurely walks, picnics under the trees, or a relaxed bike ride. The cooler temperatures make outdoor activities more enjoyable and less tiring, while the natural beauty of the park shines in its own way during autumn or winter.”
“Beautiful park, lots of lovely walking routes, play park area with water splash facilities, basketball court, tennis courts, outside gym and cafe. It's a really lovely park and would definitely recommend to use the walk/ jogging routes.”
“Lovely park! Great for short walks and picnics with family. Several friendly ducks and geese around. There were even some goslings when we visited in June. Boating in the summer is a nicer little treat. There is a small cafe with several tables indoors and a few outside. It does get crowded on weekends and holidays. Parking available from £1, free after 6pm.”
“I love Bowyer's Water and am very lucky to have it on my doorstep. The surrounding lakes and wetlands are also great and together, attract a lot of wildlife. You can go for a lunchtime walk and regularly see deer as well as all the waterfowl (Little Egrets seem to be well established now). In the winter, if you are lucky, you could see Smew, Bittern and even Cattle Egret.”
“Pretty gardens with a water feature in the middle. There are paths that encircle the pond in the middle, and when you're walking near the edge, you can hear the sound of the Longford River flowing beside you. For some reason, when I went, the gates to the bridge over the river were closed, but I am sure they must be opened at some point.”
“Battersea Park is truly a gem in London. Large green space, wooded areas, plua a beautiful lake with boating. Sport facilities Including tennis courts and playground. Plenty of walking paths. The Peace Pagoda is a tranquil spot. The whole park is well maintained and tidy. Recommend a visit”
“Great little area which is attached to the ecological park. It has great views from Canary Wharf as well as back to The City. Sometimes people using the stairs to exercise can overtake things. It’s great to sit up on top of the hill on a lovely summer’s day.”
“A beautiful and massive park in the heart of Highgate north london. Has several places to sit and summer picnics would be great. Has a lovely Cafe too.”
“The Hyde Park located in Central London is one of the finest places to visit for any tourist or resident of the city. It is a huge park spread over several acres of land. It has open spaces where you can see walkers, joggers, cyclists, pets, people playing and pedestrians enjoying the view and nature. Many musical and social activities are conducted here. A large Lake called Serpentine Lake adorns the Park where boating and swimming at select places is available. The park also has landmarks such as Diana Memorial Fountain, Speakers’ Corner, Holocaust Memorial etc. One can watch ducks and other flora and fauna as we walk through. A visitor can enjoy food and drink at the Serpentine Cafe. A pleasure to visit.”
“The most gorgeous park in central London. Usually you can find a bench to seat on, enjoy the wildlife and beautiful gardens. It’s really not as crowded as you would expect, unless it’s a hot day/holidays. The park is really well maintained, amazing for people who like watching birds.”
“Regent’s Park in London is one of the most beautiful royal parks, covering about 395 acres. The park has around six main entry gates, including Chester Gate, York Gate, and Clarence Gate, making it easy to access from different sides. It features stunning rose gardens, wide walking paths, a boating lake, children’s play areas, and the famous London Zoo. A perfect place for walking, picnics, and enjoying nature in the city.”
“What a magical experience visiting Alexandra Park at night! The views of the London skyline are absolutely breathtaking. With the city lights twinkling and the iconic landmarks lit up, it's a truly mesmerizing sight. The peaceful atmosphere at night is a perfect contrast to the city's hustle and bustle. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and even in the dark, you can appreciate the scale and beauty of the space. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend coming here after sunset. It’s an unforgettable way to see London.”
“It was my first time there. The park is flat, and you can walk around the lake. The grassland is filled with hillocks now and then. Old trees are scattered all over the area. Some benches invite you to sit down and enjoy the sun. Birds chirp all around. It is the perfect place for a wedding shoot.”
“A beautiful park that is well looked after. It also has a place you can get a cup of tea or ice cream, beautiful nature, pounds and widelife and so much more to see. Plus it is very big and worth going too.”
