“I had a very comfortable and most pleasant stay at Kew Rooms for 4 night in May 2018. My room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels were very clean. The host Geoff and his wife were very helpful and made me very welcomed. Breakfast was simple but very adequate. Chance to meet people from other countries who were staying there. Location is fantastic - 7 minute walk to Kew Gardens tube and 10 minutes to Kew Gardens Park. Fully recommend Kew Rooms if you happen to be in that part of London. My rating: 4.5*/5* or 9/10”
“The choice of menus across campus is amazing. So many great restaurants with diverse food offers for all tastes. Love Hola Pollo and the Junction where the choices are amazing. The Union Bar food is great and is value for money.”
“We usually order the Chicken Royale Burger because my kids and I really enjoy it. I always use the Burger King app, which has great offers—such as two Chicken Royale meals for around £6—and you earn reward points with every purchase. I used my points to get a free burger and ended up with three Chicken Royale burgers for just £12, which is excellent value. The restaurant is usually very quiet with no crowds, and parking is convenient. Mad Play soft play is nearby, and going to Mad Play followed by lunch at Burger King is one of our favourite family activities.”
“Fast delivery and the food was still hot when it arrived, unlike with other delivery services. Great tasting pizza and the curly cheese fries were good too. Wouldn't bother with the garlic bread again.”
“Great gluten free and dairy free pizza. The staff are really helpful and checked all the ingredients fully. Pizza was so soft and they did NOT scrimp on the vegan cheese. Will def order again. Thanks”
“Very friendly staff. I went in for chinese however the menu had changed slightly as the chef was on vacation. The rice was beautifully cooked and the chicken grilled to perfection. I will be back!”
“Sainsbury’s at Canada Water – Small but Impressively Stocked Sainsbury’s at Canada Water may be a relatively small store, but it punches well above its weight when it comes to variety and convenience. Despite its compact size, the store is impressively well-stocked, offering a wide range of everyday essentials alongside an extensive selection of Oriental and Asian food products. For those seeking diverse ingredients or specialty items, the international food section is a standout feature. It caters particularly well to Asian cuisine enthusiasts, with a surprising range of noodles, sauces, spices, and other authentic ingredients that are often hard to find in smaller supermarkets. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, with friendly staff who are always on hand to help. Whether you’re popping in for a quick shop or looking for something specific, Sainsbury’s at Canada Water offers an excellent shopping experience in a convenient location. Overall: 9/10 — Small but mighty.”
“Had a fantastic time & the kids loved it. Play area was very clean & there was something for all ages. Staff were very professional. Want to especially thank Tina who went out her way to make sure we had the best afternoon. Would definitely visit again :)”
