“My mother and myself went for afternoon tea last Saturday. Service was excellent; everyone from the Maître d' to all the wait staff were lovely and attentive. We were accommodated even though we didn't have a booking. For afternoon tea in such a beautiful location, the price was very reasonable. The only thing I miss is the unlimited champagne option they used to have. We will be back.”

“I recently swapped to this take away from another local one with whom I was becoming dissatisfied with. Ho Ho is a million times better and highly recommend. For example their curry meals have thick rich curry sauce and not watery gloop. Their sweet and sour prawn balls actually have a substantial amount of chicken in them, not just a dough ball with a chicken flake. So many things are better at Ho Ho, give them a try.”

“Really nice to have a decent place after a run in Richmond Park. As much as any building can, it blends nicely with the environment. Dining is available outside but as the weather was fresh, to say the least, it was handy to be able to sit inside. The staff were pleasant and conscientious. We were served very speedily. Finally, I spilled my coffee, my fault, and they unexpectedly replaced it free of charge. So, doubly happy.”

“Finchley Lido Leisure Centre is an excellent place for fitness, relaxation, and family fun. The facilities are always clean and well looked after, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The swimming pool is spacious, with warm water and plenty of lanes, making it great for both casual swimmers and regular training. The gym offers a wide range of modern equipment, and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. I also love the family-friendly areas, which make it easy to enjoy a day out with children. Overall, a fantastic centre that offers great value and a consistently positive experience.”

“Found them on Uber eats but ordered through their official website as I was able to collect. First time ordering through them and the lady on the phone was very helpful to guide me through any queries about the dishes. Online order was very easy and straightforward. If you want to pay with card then use their online website to order. Everything we ordered was amazing! I’m very picky with my Chinese and this place exceeded my expectations. The food had an authentic taste and very good portions, will definitely be my go to Chinese spot from now on. I will highly recommend you to try it, 10/10”

“I find this little Tesco to be a good place to shop. So much so that I walk the half mile to shop here rather than use the co-op which is a hundred yards away. Yes it has its faults but I generally find shopping here to be a positive and stress free experience.”

“I am so shocked after reading negative opinions because my one is absolutely opposite so I decided to write a review as well. We order Mr Sushi around for a year now (as soon as they appeared on Just Eat app). Delivery time is like usual when you use delivery apps +/- 45 minutes. Food is always fresh and tasty, soups are nicely warm. Deep fried chicken Yakiudon is life :D I would highly recommend it as we love sushi and we've eaten it in many places. This is definitely in top 5.”

“I recently visited this Chinese takeaway, now under new management, and it’s truly impressive! The food is absolutely delicious, with fresh, authentic flavours that really stand out. The mushroom with beef is tender and perfectly cooked, while the Singapore fried rice noodles are bursting with flavour and just the right amount of spice. What makes this place even better is the incredible value for money. Compared to other takeaways in London, the portions are very generous, and the prices are refreshingly affordable—an unbeatable combination! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try the chef’s specials. The beef shin and char siu look so appealing and are bound to be just as amazing as everything else. This has quickly become my favourite spot for Chinese food. Highly recommended!”
