“We came here 3 years ago with a 3 year old and it was great. Returned with a 6 year old and a nearly 3 year old and it was just as good but now with some extras. We petted a pony and even got to use diesel diggers which were noisy and fun. Recommend the train ride and the cafe was reasonable and had decent food. They could do with some more activities maybe things to climb and a slide or a rope bridge but overall 5 star! The parking was full and so was the overflow but we managed to get a spot and only realised when leaving there is more parking across the road.”

“The pin for this river is in the wrong place but the river itself is beautiful albeit inaccessible to the general public at this end of Bedfont. The river can be seen at the end of Richmond avenue, in some hedgerow breaks on Hatton Fields and in Dukes Green woodland. If you stand on Faggs road where the river runs underneath the A312 then you can see if from there as well.”

“All my four children have attended Aquarius swimming club. Throughout the 18 years bringing the children they have all become good swimmers. Aquarius team/ staff are supportive and excellent teachers. Having been taught a life skill , the lessons have never been a chore-it has always been fun and they have all enjoyed their lessons. I can’t thank Caroline and her team enough. Highly recommend this club and the prices are very reasonable as an added bonus.”

It starts close to Clissold Park (which is the best dog walking park in the area) and then connects up to Finsbury Park and on Parkland Walk and onwards to Highgate Woods. Best bit if you have a dog that likes water, or one that needs to cool off on a hot day, there are places where your dog can go in the water. But do take note of and avoid disturbing the wildlife.”
