“During our covid lockdown, we enjoyed this beautiful park almost daily. Great place to walk or run, big grassy area for playing or lounging. Lots of friendly people from the neighborhood to greet you with a smile and a Hiya! A life saver for us.”

“Really nice food and very generous portions. I order the Burger Plus Meal and Fillet of Fire meal with extra wings. The chicken and wings were really nice and the chips were of a very generous portion. The burgers were tasty (a tad salty) but still tasted great. Worth a visit for sure.”

“Absolutely wonderful place for a day out with kids. Not only you get to experience beautiful gardens and architecture, you can enjoy the woodland bit, see baby swans, have a picnic or grab a lovely hot drink and a bone baked muffin from the cafe on the site as well ( Liana’s Cafe in The Courtyard ). Very picturesque and relaxing. Also - a gorgeous wedding venue.”

“Very nice atmosphere, nice little cafe in the park. Good for after a long walk to go there and eat. Prices and portions are very good. Under £10 for roast lamb that was nice and tender. English breakfast really good quality sausage and bacon. I was surprised at the prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly. 10/10 will go again, nice and warm inside. Dog friendly, place was clean.”

We’ve been coming here religiously since we’ve discovered this place. Our favourite chippy in the neighborhood !
