“We had a delicious vegan lunch at Wild Cherry. We shared a vegan sausage roll, roasted pepper with chickpeas and bulghur and mushroom lasagna. We also picked up a few things from the deli. We really recommend this place!”

“Great walking experience. Easy parking, though you need to pay. Be aware of fake QR code sticker's on the payment machine. I use the payment app too be safe. There's a regular bus service between Eastbourne and Brighton which stops along various points of the seven sisters walk and Nd the the walk to Newhaven. So it's very easy to catch a bus back to your car.”

“Beautiful serene setting creating a sombre atmosphere paying homage to the Indian soldiers who fought in WW1 and died in the makeshift hospital in Royal Pavilion. The location is not easily accessible, we took the bridle path and walked for around 45 mins to reach the monument. The path is quite steep and uphill. There is a narrow road which is where Google map was suggesting to use but we parked just off the main road and walked.”

“Always a great day out at Fishers Farm. We travel from Wiltshire to meet friends half way. I’m happy to see some investment has been made to the park. The new entrance building with the gift shop is lovely. The woodland forest has been completely re done (photos attached). We are excited to try the ringos ramp when it’s finished next time we come as that was still being worked on. We especially loved the new baby sensory area inside. Thanks all for a l other great visit, see you again soon!”

“Massive grounds with something for everybody; lakeside and woodland walks, a zoo, children's play atea and a couple of cafes - we visited the walled garden cafe. The grounds are dog-friendly and there is plenty of space for families and picnics.”

“Stunning park especially in the autumn, for all its vibrant colours as the trees begin to shed their leaves. Springtime brings snowdrops and other early risers, once again a feast on for the eyes. Your usual national trust cafe, shop & garden shop are all present, as well as a street food stall plus a snacks & hot drinks wagon. Plenty of walks to choose from, the shorter ones for the lakes are the favourites for most people.”

“Bewbush Water Gardens is tucked away behind residential streets and edged by the Mill Pond and Ifield Brook, it’s a peaceful little pocket of nature, complete with footbridges, ducks, and the occasional philosophical heron pretending not to judge your life choices. Before it became a tranquil garden spot, the area was part of the old Bewbush Farm estate and, later, the outer edge of Crawley's New Town expansion in the 1970s and 80s. It was pretty wild and overgrown for a while, basically a swampy patch of scrubland that only the bravest dog walkers dared enter. Now? It’s been transformed into a lush wetland park, great place to walk the dog or feed some ducks, or just to escape the screech of the A23.”

“Good park Pretty quarry and good paths most of which have gravel overlayed so it doesn’t get muddy, although the forest paths are quit muddy year round so hiking books would be recommended unless you plan on walking in the bushes :)”

“For a peaceful and tranquil walk with nature, knowing you are not far from the modern world if needed, with parking dotted around the woods it is always something we can all do with from time to time, I am lucky in that i now live in this beautiful area but if you find yourself visiting i would strongly recommend a visit to these woods. On the main man made pathways there is access for wheelchairs and even on some of the trodden in footpaths, it is full of beautiful trees, nature and wildlife.”

“I had an exciting night at Shocktober Fest — easily one of the best Halloween events I’ve attended, and I’ve travelled all over the world. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were great, and the food was excellent, which was a big bonus. The only downside was not managing to experience all of the scare attractions, but that just gives me a reason to return next year. Highly recommended!”

“I love going to Queens park, it is a lovely place to go during all months of the year. In autumn, the colorful leaves are specially beautiful to admire. There are many dogs in the park playing, and there are dog-free zones as well. There's a children's park, a lovely pond and lots of green space. My favourite activity is to feed the squirrels and ducks around the park. The squirrels are quite friendly and will fetch peanuts from your hand, or you can throw them in their direction, it's a nice place to go for a refreshing walk. I will say that there are stone paths around the park if you don't want to step in the grass, but the park itself is a bit steep, going up and down, night be an issue if you have special mobility needs.”

“Got the feeling that it had not been open long. A work in progress or perhaps it was just the time of year. A lovely place for families there was something for everyone. Well stocked garden centre and the staff were very helpful. My only criticism was the moss on parts of the outdoor paths which could prove a slip hazard. I didn't go in the cafe as it was half term and very busy.”

“A lovely centre and a very accommodating friendly receptionist. My husband and I both have a couple of disabilities autism being one of them which makes a warm water pool perfect for us due to our sensory needs. We was worried as we were not able to secure transport for our 2:30pm. The receptionist was so lovely as to adjust our timing for us so we did not miss out we are very grateful. Would recommend this pool and is very family friendly as well for those with children.”

“Completed my RYA 1&2 with Brighton Watersports. The instructors were great - patient, competent and thorough. Doing the training in fresh water at Piddinghoe is perfect for beginners as there's no tide to worry about and club house provides a warm refuge if you fall in.”
