Absolutely beautiful! Very pleasant time hiking in a forest packed with bluebells, blossoming trees, an amazing garden centre curated by the college, and a lovely restaurant at Stanmer House. Highly recommended!

Now is the time to visit the bluebells in Stamner Woods (late April). Nature at its finest. Great for tracking, dog walks and cycling.

Lovely area to walk and explore. Various places to get refreshments as well as toilets and once your away from the car parks or village you can walk for miles without seeing another person. Superb areas for the dogs to run.

Next to University of Sussex, the bluebells season in April is very beautiful. One of the happiest things in life is to lie on a meadow on a sunny afternoon.

Lovely woods, with bluebells in April-May on the high ridge behind and to the south of the main house. Good areas for picnics and gatherings and rambles or a bit of biking or hiking. Ample paid parking, lovely sheltered garden and good café. When we were at the restaurant it was a bit slow on service due to staff shortage, the food is good. Recommend the scones.
