I stayed with four friends at Chalky Downs for 15 days while we were waiting for completion on our houses, and it was incredible! For such a reasonable price, the location is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, with everything we needed. There are three showers and five bathrooms, plenty of plug sockets, and even a kettle! The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and they had everything well stocked, such as fire pits, logs and kindling. My friends and I made such amazing memories here, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

A beautiful spot with fabulous views. There is plenty of space around each pitch. It is quiet but within easy reach of local amenities. The facilities are more than adequate and the toilets and showers are spotless. We always receive a very warm welcome.

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and idyllic. Will definitely be staying there again, this time for a little longer. Easy to find, just off the main road into Brighton, and close to Brighton Racecourse. About a 10 minute drive from from Brighton. There is the option to catch the bus into Brighton, costs about £5 return; which is a lot cheaper than using the carparks in Brighton Sharen, the owner was very nice and knowledgeable There are showers, toilets and a washing up area on site. There is even the facility to charge your phone. Expect to see the odd sheep roaming around, it is a working farm, not just a camp site. Area where there are goats to look at, which the kids will love. Would recommend this place to anyone

Had an absolute blast at this campsite. Clean restrooms and showers and very dog friendly. Beautiful and serene surroundings and the host, Sharen, is the best host you could imagine for a campsite. Definitely coming back next year!

what an amazing campsite my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. all facilities where clean and tidy and the delivery breakfast service was awesome. The proprietor Sharen is lovely and made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us, we will definitely be returning soon for another visit.

All the joys of wild camping, but with oustanding toilet and shower facilities. The pitches were not particularly leveled, but the views are spectacular and makes it a must visit, off the beaten track campsite. Goats and cows are in close proximity and add to the countryside atmosphere. One of our personal favorite. We will definitely be visiting again.
