“Coventry War Memorial Parks is always a good place for a walk when in the area, I come alot and notice so many changes in every season. It really has alot to see and do and it’s very large, so room for everyone. Lots of play areas for children and tennis courts and other facilities. Nice well laid out paths, toilets and plenty of parking, free for 3 hours. Got to see inside the memorial building on a Sunday when they opened, staff friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Beautiful woodlands, nature at its best! The trees were absolutely fascinating and added to the charm. Great for peaceful strolls, picnics and relaxing in the fresh air. The car park was easy to find and reasonably priced. A perfect spot for nature lovers.”

“I live very close to this place and often visit here. This is the best place to walk, relax and do some recreational activities. There are tennis courts (I think you need to reserve them in advance), place to skate, there are swings, see-saw and other things for small kids to play. Usually on the weekends it will be crowded. I usually come here to read books or to have walk depends on the weather of course. There are a lot of things people can do here. Many people walk their dogs, train them or play fetch the ball with them. This place has multiple entrances but limited parking spot so you have to figure it on your Own.”

“This club is amazing! Such friendly people who are there to help you better your skills at kayaking and paddle boarding, or just give you space to enjoy the water at your own leisure. I throughly enjoy the Thursday session and have got more confident on water because of going there, 5*****”

“Nice clean and tidy park, very well maintained, good river walk. Cafe serving decent ice cream, coffee and snacks. Parking is strange being in a multi story, looks like there's more open air, but not obvious how to get there.”

“Amazing place to spend the day. You can walk around the area, feed the ducks spend the day with your children, have lunch or even a picnic if the weather is nice. There are also games for disabled children so they can fun too. Highly recommended. We are definitely visit the park again when we go to the area next time.”

“Stayed here 3 nights in January 2017 and it's fantastic! 25 mins drive to Kingsbury Water Park for fantastic dog walks. THE best showers I have had on a site. Spotless and we'll mentioned - AND ARE FREE! Don't be misled by the old scanned map that says £1 showers. Also there is a large laundry room with fresh farm eggs - £1.20 for 6 / £2 for 12. Bargain! Good signal on both EE and 3 networks for phone and 4G coverage. Large pitches, friendly people and horses! Don't think twice, this is lovely and so quiet........ Will be back again one day I'm sure. Can't fault it, we'll done.”

“Headed to this beautiful park for a concert July 2025 with a friend. The stage was set up near the tennis courts. The entry area near the stage was very chilled out and overall I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere seeing a relatively little known band (by UK standards at least). If you are thinking of seeing a performance at this park, I would absolutely recommend!”

“Lovely place for a long walk with different types of deer roaming the estate, sheep, herons, egrets, ducks, pheasants and swans. The views across the countryside and neighbouring villages are beautiful. The house and surroundings buildings are well worth the visit. There are two cafes both experienced recently with slow almost indifferent service but food and drink were good.”

“This park combines modern style and wild nature. It is very well maintained. The morning and evening singing of birds is fascinating. Migratory birds find rest here. I recommend visiting this park and enjoying the rest in nature.”

“Fantastic gem of a site. We initially chose this because they would accept our XL Bully as many sites don't. The staff are extremely friendly and many of the visitors are regular and repeat campers and we can see why. It's far enough away from major towns to be rural and peaceful but close enough if you want to explore. The site is well maintained with a dog walking area, ball park, games room and a 9 hole putting green. There is also a fishing pond which was very popular with visitors. The toilet/shower blocks were always kept clean and tidy. There is a small shop onsite to get any basics you need to stock up on along with a few extras such as toys etc. Back to the XL Bully point for those who may be put off...from what I understand it's not necessarily a blanket policy. If you abide by the rules and your dog is well behaved, as we do and ours is, you will be allowed to stay but if you flout the rules or your dog causes issues you will be asked to leave and as an XL owner I think that's a very fair and balanced view to take. She doesn't often get the chance to socialise because people walk the other way but so many visitors stopped to ask if they could fuss her, which was fantastic for her development. We will definitely be returning, with or without the dogs.”

“An absolute hidden gem......a lovely little site with its own little woods...enclosed in tress...lovely to walk around with our dog...with benches ...fantastic to make your morning coffee and just enjoy sitting outside in nature There are open countryside walks close by. Barbara and Susan the owners are just lovely people and keep the site beautiful. There are toilets and shower on site, washing up station, rubbish and recycling bin, water tap and elan point. This site is adults only...and dogs welcome. This is our 2nd visit and will definitely be returning.”

“Draycote Water is a fantastic place for a family walk. The path around the reservoir is well maintained and offers beautiful views all the way round – perfect for a relaxing day outdoors with children. Parking is very easy here, with plenty of spaces available, so there’s no stress about finding a spot even on busier days. After a walk around the lake, it’s great to treat the kids to ice cream on site – a perfect way to finish the visit. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, spend time with the family and get some fresh air without having to travel far. Highly recommended for a weekend outing.”

“Brilliant village park teeming with life. Happy kids playing in the playground and on the grass; dog-walkers exercising their hounds and chatting; plenty of clean benches to sit on. A proper town park well used.”

“Great place - lots of little walks to go on and the Wildlings (Forest School) session hosted here is class. Great leaders! The playground has a fenced off area for younger kids, which is great and a larger play frame for the older ones.”

“Brilliant local park and firm favourite of mine and my dog. Lots of work has been taking place on the park over last year or so. I Paticularly like the new young trees that have been planted.Will look stunning when fully grown.”

“Plenty of space for your car, not much shade from tree's in summer, can get really busy. Currently £3.50 for 2hrs stay the first 15 minutes is free. Pay after your stay at the machines by the cafe either by card or cash, remember your reg number.”

“Brilliant camp site. Perfectly flat. Facilities are wonderfully clean. Staff lovely. It's a mixture of residence and holiday makers. No children. Road nearby but only a low buzz of traffic. Will definitely stay here again. When you arrive, pick a pitch and set up. Management will be over to see you later in the day”

“Lovely open space, good for the dogs too on the exercise area. Bit muddy at this time of year as you'd expect but not terrible in walking boots. Going to be lovely in the summer!! Update June 2024: it is indeed lovely in the summer! Only a few muddy spots in dips in the path - easily stepped over or around. Lots of greenery and wildlife.”

“This is a beautiful small park with a charming lake in the middle that is home to a swan and her baby chicks and other species of ducks and geese.”

“Its beautiful here. 2 lovely places to eat. Set a 10 min easy walk from the city centre at most. Canal side dining and grocery shopping. There is also a live music venue that is open when events are on.”
