βSome what hidden gem, very relaxing place to walk about.β
βLovely day at the Leamington food festival, plus great entertainment in the bandstand but I'm biased as my family were playing! Great choice of food stands and lovely ambiance.β
βCalled in here after a long drive. The restaurant decor is super and the fountain at the entrance magnificent. We had very good service and the food was excellent. Had the set menu for 2. Beef and black bean was my favourite. Barbecued ribs my husbandβs favourite.Waitresses were very helpful in explaining anything. Would love to return to Ruby. Highly recommend.β
βDelighted to go the Old Mill for lunch with friends. The welcome was as always warm and friendly. Our waitress was Lois who attended to us so well being friendly and very helpful. She paid do much attention to us and always had a smile on her face. The meal was as usual delicious and well presented. I love the Old Mill for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Lois for your help and hospitalityβ
βCompact outdoor space with a sense of wildness and tranquility despite the traffic sounds from Kenpas highway nearby.β
βSo authentic and warm place! The food was delicious! As someone originally from Adana I can definitely say that Adana kebap was one of the best Iβve ever had outside of Adana :) Plus very welcoming, friendly and warm staff. If you want to have real Turkish food at a nice place, highly recommended!!β

βThere are multiple entrances each offering a different walk. It's a great place for dog walks, With well maintained pathways.β
βHighly recommend to visit merhaba cafe, amazing Eritrean and Ethiopian food, must test it is Unique food in the world.β
βThis park is really nice to spend some time with your family. And the park is maintained wellβ
βThis was a beautiful natural walk that we found to be full of singing birds and gorgeous trees. Accessable for all ages to walk.β
βThis was bought for us as a gift, Archery and Axe Throwing. Venue is easy to get to, clean and well set out. Various activities available, each housed in their own specific area, axe throwing, shooting, archery, climbing, shark diving, escape rooms. Each activity needs to be booked separately, age restrictions apply, (18 for shooting, 15 for Axe throwing, 8 for archery, ), so check before booking. Arrive half hour early to book in and fill in waivers and validate parking token for reduced parking charge ,( East 5). Cafe on site , drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Small gift shop, also reasonably priced. Staff at the venue are helpful , friendly and knowledgeable . Axe throwing in particular was great fun. Full instructions and safety advice is given at activity start, (5 minutes). Axe throwing lasts 45 minutes. Archery was also very good, professionally run with a clear emphasis on safety. Session length was half an hour. Full use of assault course is included in the price, however we didn't use this due to ongoing knee problems, but guests using the course seemed to have a good time. Great day out , sessions could have been slightly longer but would definitely go here again. Prices of activities vary from Β£20 upwards, booking in advance gets cheaper price . Excellent.β
βHad a party of 20 attend the restaurant on the 6/11. Always challenging when having a party of this size, however the food was excellent, bought out with perfect timing, and the service and attention my party received was of a very high standard. I am not from the area, but when I visit Leamington again or people suggest where to go out for this type of cuisine in Leamington The Himalayan will be the recommendation.β
βGreat little place for food, service and friendly atmosphere! Ziggy and the team looked after us really well!β
βBeen in here many times and had many good nights out here. Food is nice and reasonably priced as are the drinks. Chilled atmosphere in the day and can get really busy at the weekends and when showing sporting events. 5 stars all around, nice placeβ
βLovely place, well maintained and highly litter free. Would reccomend.β
βWe had a really lovely long weekend in a 2 bedroom lodge with a hot tub. Great location for Stratford, Warwick, and Leamington Spa. The lodge itself was roomy and was clean. The lodge was starting to look tired in places (the laminate floor was starting to peel and there were scuff marks on the walls). But the main things like the bed and bathrooms and kitchen were clean. So overall happy. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. The hot tub was good and really warm in the October chill. We had an issue with the water jets initially and the team sorted it straight away. Barbara in reception was really lovely. We received a lot of communication before arriving so we knew we could go straight to our lodge as we arrived after 5pm. Nice area to wander around and enough parking (although may be tricky if lots of lodges have more than one car). Itβs very neat and lots of greenery. Overall very happy, would stay again.β
βI really like Wyken Slough, any day of the year there are birds to be fed. I often see rare birds perched on logs protruding from the large pond. There are benches all a long the circumference of the pond, which allows for pit stops if needs be. The best part about this place, is the forraging. There is plenty to forrage, in the winter I was able to make jam from fresh damsons, bullace, rosehips, sloes and apples. If you venture into the overgrown trails beyond the pond, there is plenty to forrage and explore. I often see the odd burnt out abandoned motorcycle or trolley in bushes lol. Another good thing. is there are Horses to look at, you aren't allowed to feed them but if you go to the fence they will come and say hello. There are two distinct downsides to Wyken Slough, One: If you make the mistake of going during school pickup hours, the car park is absolutely packed and it's hard to get in or out, also people are all irritable. The only other issue, is youths on motorbikes and quad bikes like to use the field behind the pond as their track, when it rains you can see oil come up from the ground, in all the puddles. Not to mention the risk of anti-social behavior, although any sign of the police seems to make them leave. 4/5 :)β
βA peaceful place along the roads of Coventry. This is located near along the Humber road and is a widely spread area covered with greenery everywhere. The place is used by people to do cycling, exercise, jogging and walks. Pets are also allowed into this. Children can find swing, see-saw, etc as outdoor games. If you are a fitness freak then you got qum equipment in the open air and is not crowded too so you can use them almost at any time I can say. There is a table tennis court too in this park. Absolute place for peace of mind.β
βVery nice staff and an amazing selection of water toys for children to use.β
βWe were staying nearby and had been advised that Rice and Spice was worth a visit. We tried it and were not disappointed. We had a set meal for two. We didn't have to wait long, and the food was very hot and delicious. The set menu offered a good balance of dishes and there was plenty of food for two. I will go again when I am next in the area.β
βNicest Costa I have been to and a perfect flat white. The three lovely ladies taking and preparing our order for five people were friendly and efficient. The bathrooms were clean, unlike a lot of cafes, and the seating area had a nice atmosphere especially for such a large shopping area off the road. We enjoyed a much needed coffee and break from driving. Thank you!β
βHad a day out not too busy and got a 99 ice-cream check the number plateβ
βWent yesterday with a friend. It was lovely to see a pub busy. Atmosphere was great, background music not too loud so we could chat and the bar staff were fab. Ordered the southern fried chicken burger. It was delicious. Will definitely be returning.β
βOrdered the Crispy Shredded Beef and it was absolutely spot on. Perfectly crispy, full of flavour and not greasy at all β exactly how it should be. The sauce was rich and balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and a little kick. Portion size was generous and everything arrived hot and fresh. One of the best Chinese takeaways in Rugby. Will definitely order again!β
βNice park in the neighbourhood. Theres always something going on like fun fair or circus etc.β
βWeβve just returned from a wonderful three-night stay at the Leonardo Hotel, Hinkley Island, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. This hotel is impressive in both size and service, running smoothly and efficiently, but what truly stood out were the incredible staff members. Each and every team member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasant stay. A special shout-out to Beth and Faith at reception, who welcomed us with warm, genuine smiles and were always ready to assist with any request. Their customer service was second to none, making us feel like valued guests from the start. Similarly, Meghan at the bar was an absolute gemβso friendly, professional, and attentive, making our evenings even more enjoyable. Itβs clear that the staff at the Leonardo Hotel are not only well-trained, but also truly care about their guests, and that makes all the difference. They really went the extra mile to make our familiesβ half-term breaks unforgettable. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special. You are a true credit to the Leonardo Hotel chain, and we canβt wait to return! The Gomez & Welch familiesβ
βPerfect location to get around via public transport. Eli when we first got here was very good system went down but sorted out room out third time lucky couldn't do kore for us myself and my mum. Breakfast could of been a bit better hot food going cold quickly and contractors should of had a more facilities for them provided and paying guest at the hotel should of had priority. Other than that a lovely stayβ
βGreat atmosphere, super friendly staff and reasonably priced foodβ
βBeen on the hunt for decent chips for ages. Most seem rubbery and a bit weird tasting if they have been sitting for a bit. We heard good things being said about this place and gave it a try. Chips cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. Fish looked good so will be having some next time. Really happy we found you and worth the drive from Dunchurch. Thank-you for making the effort to serve great food.β
