There are multiple entrances each offering a different walk. It's a great place for dog walks, With well maintained pathways.

Little walk on my own today. New to the area, lovely setting for a walk in the sun (well, it's shady under so many trees!)

Amazing place, for dog walking, taking a stroll, entertaining the kids. Birdsong, scenery, wildlife, what more could you ask for. Well worth a visit. There's picnic areas, a playground that's very well maintained, bike ramps, and a cafe that's open on certain days.

On Friday we were walking along the path by the stream , and our dog ran into the farmers field through the barbed wire fence ; which i believe had just been installed . She badly gashed her side , and has just returned from the vets . Having had a operation £690.00 . With so many dog walkers i would have thought anon barbed wire fence would have been a better choice .

My favourite little slice of countryside whilst still being close to home. These woods are the gift that keep on giving, every season is stunning though May is probably my favourite. I don't think I've ever been on a walk here and not stumbled across a deer. There are so many different paths to take, I don't think I've explored them all yet in the 2 years I've been coming here. You can make your walk as short or long as you like, today we spent 2 hours pondering round. There's various pools/sources of water throughout the woods as well as subtle changes between the tree types too. In May a part of the wood is beautifully carpeted with bluebells. Despite my age I still adore the little painted rocks throughout the woods too, always a pleasure to come across :)
