It is a perfect place to breathe fresh air. Forget about city life and enjoy this woodland without any fear.
One of Coventry's most tranquil places. The hum of the city is soon over laid with the sounds of nature. The bird song and water flowing lowers your stress levels, you soon forget you are in the 21st century. I'm very impressed by the water being so clean and no rubbish collected in the ford. (As was in 80's). A great place for any one who just needs to breathe.
Compact outdoor space with a sense of wildness and tranquility despite the traffic sounds from Kenpas highway nearby.
Canley Ford. Golfers one side and the A45 on the other, strangley tranquil. The woods have lots of trails and the meadows are well kept. Beautiful place.

First of all when I type Nature Reserve in Google maps in results this place is not shown. For promoting this nice peace of nature phrase "Nature Reserve" should be added in title. There's a brook and paths on little woodlands and meadows, so it's good for a short walk and exploring nature. Located on Canley or Tile Hill area in Coventry, so should be a popular place for local people.
Regular green space haunt in the city. Much appreciated space to sit and watch and listen to the birds.
I love Canley Ford. Re: dog walking it's a great walk for and of itself, as well as being the start of various radial walks out in different directions. (Uni grounds/memorial park/Kenilworth Road). Looked after brilliantly by Friends of Canley Ford. - worth volunteering if you are able to commit time regularly.
