    Riversley Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.3
    Open

“This spacious green area near Nuneaton town center is a delightful place to visit, especially on sunny days. It offers scenic walking paths and features a small, free museum with a café, adding to its charm. Parking on-site is limited, but alternatives are available at Sainsbury's or the Ropewalk, though note that card payments may not be accepted. It's a great spot for a daytime outing or dog walking, but I would recommend avoiding it after dark.”

“Went yesterday with a friend. It was lovely to see a pub busy. Atmosphere was great, background music not too loud so we could chat and the bar staff were fab. Ordered the southern fried chicken burger. It was delicious. Will definitely be returning.”

    Clay Pool

    ★★★★★ 5
    Open

“Clay Pool is one of the best spots in Whittleford Park. Cormorants, grey herons and Canada geese are regular visitors. Grebes and egrets have been spotted on the water. Swans, mallards, coots, moorhens and tufted ducks seem to call it home. We even spotted a couple of shovellers on there once. All that life, and that's before you look in the trees that pretty much surround the pool. It really is a lovely place, and a long way from what it was in the days of Haunchwood Brick & Tile Co. You often see fisherman on the main shore, but they don't tend to be too much of a problem, and you can always get away from them by popping down the path near the railway bridge... it's a better view anyway.”
