Car park was fine, but it’s 2025, why is there no option to pay using my phone? I went here for parkrun and ended up waiting for 10 minutes behind 5 other people because we all had to use 1 machine

This is a lovely spot for a walk, with paths well suited to prams or bikes. We love meeting friends there, especially with little kids - there's a great playarea, miniature train that runs from 11am, a cafe/toilets and lots of woods to explore for a picnic.
If you enjoy walks and ponds and birds go check it out even got one pond for jet skiing its a nice place
Amazing place for families with children or just friends, they have bouncy castles (I guess when weather is good), playground for children, bicycle and tricycle rentals, beautiful scenery and lots of paths for long walks.
Love this place. Such a vast area of lovely walks and things for the kids to do.
The best place to go if your thinking to do picnic right next your car!
