Stayed here for a few nights, very nice little campsite five minute walk from beachfront. The owner Joe is very friendly and welcoming and a very nice person to speak to. Very reasonable priced
An excellent camp site we used gor our motorhome grst position for bus routes to Brighton.
Good location 20 mins walk to town, pebble beach, buses & trains for Brighton Worthing etc. on site cafe. Reasonable varied pitches. Only minor negative is the gents only having one loo. The site is clean and well managed. All you need really
This is a great little campsite, where you get a good sized pitch. The reception area also doubles up as a small cafe, where you can buy ice creams and drinks from the fridge. The toilets and showers are clean and tidy, but there are only two of each in the men's and ladies, which can get busy when the campsite has plenty of people on it. There is an area to wash your pots, however, only one person can wash up at a time, due to there only being one draining board. We ended up taking our pots back to the van to wash on one occasion. An improvement in this area would be very beneficial. You can walk in to Lancing from the site, which isn't far, there's an Asda and railway station about half a mile away, which we used to take us in to Brighton, which is about ten miles away. We also walked in to Worthing, about 2.5 miles away and a nice walk along the sea front. The fella who owns the site is good and explained everything we needed to know and he popped over for a five minute chat one evening. I would definitely recommend this site and we have every intention of returning.
Wonderful experience. Joe the manager is so accommodating and chilled. Booked for 2, ended up 6 weeks due to hospital appointments and surgery. All facilities were clean, 2 x showers, loo and basins. Would highly recommend. Thanks Joe.
The site we were originally booked into was completely waterlogged when we arrived so it was impossible for us to use. Fortunately we got in contact with Jo at The Barn and he managed to accommodate us on a hard standing pitch. Jo is very friendly, and helpful.The site is very pleasant and well run and is situated just minutes from all the amenities you need for your holiday. All in all, Jo turned our visit from a near washout into a very pleasant experience.
Love this site. Small site which is very well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble - owner goes above and beyond. Good wooden play area for children in the centre of the site, so parents can easily keep an eye on their children. Small coffee shop and place to buy ice creams recently added.
The barn is just brilliant. All the facilities are great. Playground slap bang in the middle of the field where you can let your little ones make friends and keep an eye on them from the comfort of your camp. Great cafe and clean showers/toilets. Great location to beach. The owner is very friendly too which is always a bonus!
Amazing campsite if you are looking for quiet, clean and compact. The owners clearly value the experience of their customers. All the facilities are very close, impeccably clean and I love how they do not over-pack the field. They could easily cram more sites in, but they choose not to. New little barista too - get coffee and ice creams! The playground is cute and there is always a football by the goal posts. This place feels like a little secret. Shhhhhh...
