The campsite that gives you a warm hug..very well set out, a smallish site in a lovely setting. Very well organised, clean, set in a convenient location. The showers were roomy, hot water with a good pressure, a good size shower tray, ample amount of hooks and shelves plus a mirror. Washing up area with all you need including plate/utensil drainer. It was such a treat to have a fire pit on each pitch with a grill for optional cooking. The wood purchased from Kingsbarn gave a fantastic burn.

Brilliant location, very easy to book with an extremely friendly service. Had to cancel 2 members, full refund was given quickly. The site itself is tidy, clean (exceptional compost toilets and showering, washing up facilities) wonderful views in a quiet part of the downs. Firewood sold on site for the firepits was reasonably priced. Would 100% go again. Thank you for a lovely camping trip.

Great campsite. Only open two months of the year, but a really nice vibe. There are five campervan plots and they are a really good size. We've been to other sites where there would be twice as many squeezed in, but not here so you get a big plot. They are level too, or Plot B is, so no ramps/chocks required. The tent plots look good as well, each with their own space, and the grass is allowed to grow between plots which gives you some nice privacy. Compost toilets are really well constructed (a little draughty when it's raining and windy, but hey), and kept very clean. Small (cute) shower block, made in a farm trailer. You get a fire pit/BBQ with each plot, with logs, kindling and fire starters available to buy on site, as well as the obligatory marshmallow kit! Will & Jaz have a really great set up here. We had pretty awful weather when we went for the weekend, but we're going to really try to get back this year before they shut at the end of September. Would highly recommend, just don't book Plot B when we want it!

Great location with a friendly welcome. Nice clean facilities on a well-maintained site. I create Youtube outdoors based content and I have stayed at a good few campsites, but this has been one of the nicest I've visited this year I would highly recommend.

Great campsite, lovely remote location in the countryside - easy to relax. I agree the showers and loos were awesome! Nice walk into Steyning which is lovely and also nice country walks down by the river. There was a slight mix up on arrival where we hadn't realised camper vans and tents couldn't camp together but Jasmin and Will were very accommodating allowing us to all camp together and even coming to mow the grass for us! Dog friendly and our little dog Daisy had a wonderful time on her first camping trip!

We were cycle camping along the Downs Link making the location perfect. The site itself was well tended and felt secure with a combination code on the gate to the road, plus cars were kept out of the main field. We arrived quite late so didn't meet the owners and couldn't take advantage of the firewood sold on site. Toilets and showers were clean. Plots were quite close to each other which only became an issue when another party played music and chatted late into the night, clearly the sort to flaunt any rules the site owners set out.

Had a lovely stay at this peaceful, relaxing campsite in our campervan. Great location with basic facilities - hot showers, compost loos and washing up sinks. We only stayed one night as we are local, but we had a lovely evening enjoying the view of the downs, then sitting round the fire stargazing when the sun went down. We will definitely be back

Kings Barn Campsite was exceptionally maintained and had a fantastic location. The facilities were really outstanding and spotless; you could tell how much work had gone into looking after the campers. I would highly recommend this spot- it allows you to either wander over to the local village or drive 20 minutes into Brighton. We really liked being surrounded by nature.

This is a beautiful place to go camping, and I cannot recommend enough! The site is so well maintained, immaculately clean, and the owners are so friendly! We stayed here recently for 2 nights, and it was blissful! All pitches are spread out nicely (so your not on top of each other like you are at other campsites), and the facilities are faultless! Surrounded by rolling fields, and we were even visited by the local cows. The communication from start to finish has been fantastic, so professional! About a week before arriving, they sent us a PDF guide, which proved really helpful. It gives you clear directions of how to find them, along with information on walking routes, pubs etc. The owners also came by as we were setting up, and were so friendly. I believe this is a new venture for them, but you'd think they've been doing it for years. The whole setup is very clever and well thought out, and you can tell that they have taken great care in everything. The facilities were immaculate when we arrived, with such lovely little touches - it certainly brought a touch of luxury to our camping trip. Everything was cleaned on a daily basis, and having a lovely hot shower on site felt like a real treat! Firewood and other essentials can be bought on site, and everything is well priced. I can't thank them enough for a great stay... Though next time, I definitely want to try their bell tent, as that looks amazing!!

Such a lovely campsite with beautiful views over the South downs. The compost toilets are very well maintained and clean, with instructions on how to use them. The showers are brilliant, the luxury of a hot shower but outdoors, we wish we had one at home! The pitches are nicely spread apart and are very well maintained. Jaz and Will were very welcoming and helpful, even came to check up on us after a night of thunder storms! We will 100% be returning to Kings Barn camping next year!
