Finchley Lido Leisure Centre is an excellent place for fitness, relaxation, and family fun. The facilities are always clean and well looked after, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The swimming pool is spacious, with warm water and plenty of lanes, making it great for both casual swimmers and regular training. The gym offers a wide range of modern equipment, and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. I also love the family-friendly areas, which make it easy to enjoy a day out with children. Overall, a fantastic centre that offers great value and a consistently positive experience.

This is the worse place for swimming. They get all the school kids in all the time during term time and holidays. If you’re off peak member there’s a very narrow window for you to swim because either school group are there so they close off the whole area or lessons are taking place which means a very wide lane dedicated for lessons and narrow lanes for the rest with so many swimmers crammed in. They are clearly putting profits before value for money and comfort of paid members from the fat contracts they get from local authorities !

Went for the wave machine. Great pool area. Shame the hot tub doesn’t work/isn’t available. I can’t swim as much because of nerve/illness issues and was hoping for that but I did waddle in the warmer area of the pool that is meant for the younger ones. It’s a great day out. Facilities were clean. Staff friendly. Lifeguards are always aware.

Filthy. Overflowing drains. The main indoor pool looked fine but it was only for private lessons and adults swimming lanes. The wave pool was therefore packed with greasy minging water.. looked disgusting and the outdoor pool was OK, a bit cold considering it was windy and overcast. The changing rooms stank off the toilets. There was no indication main pool would not be accessible.. I feel ripped off

Its a small gym but has everything you need and is never overly crowded. However on numerous occasions I have seen children around the free weights. The changing rooms have no air con and there seems to be a lack of lockers on bisy days. The adult pool is nice, the lido is past its sell by date.

Beautiful swimming pool and the gym. Not very crowded and fairly clean, except after swimming lessons. Good value. Most of the staff are lovely, polite and helpful, but there are one or too that are extremely unprofessional who think it is ok to shout at customers and their colleagues. Shocking really. I haven’t made my mind up whether to continue with membership or to cancel it. No one pays to be shouted by aggressive staff. I sent an email to the manager, let’s see how they handle this case…

My daughter and I went swimming here in October half term, it was not busy and there is free parking. It was simple to get in, we wanted to use the 'lane' pool however we were not allowed because you have to be older and prove that you can swim (we wanted to practice). So we had to use the smaller pool. This was not to much of a problem, it was good fun, but could not practice much. They do have a wave machine that was really good. Overall the place was clean and staff were good.

Took my 17 month here for swimming. Love that there is separate pool for children. And the lifeguards were kind and told us when the waves were starting so we could move to the shallow bit. Only downfall is rust on floor and some of the railings. The toilets are bit to far for my liking from baby changing room. Other then that staff friendly enough.

The booking service is very easy to use and have never had an issue with it. The pool and shower temperature needs to be sorted out. Our 2 year old spent the whole session shivering due to the temperature of the pool. We thought a shower would warm her up but it was just as cold. Lifeguards were good and staff were helpful but the facilities around the pool and changing areas need to be addressed

Sunday afternoon, blissfully quiet! Excellent equipment, all brand new. The whole gym floor was clean and there was a visible, active gym instructor. There is limited floor space for stretching and I thought the toilets not being in a separate area in the changing room was a bit odd. Pool looked clean and inviting. I'm a member so I didn't interact with reception as I just scanned myself in, which was easy enough.
