This ride has so much wasted potential, you literally get your shoes soaked unless you take them off. I was in a comfortable position but a member of staff forced me to put my shoes ALL THE WAY in the dirty water before I could ride. The queues are also very high so I would recommend just giving this one a miss if you want to keep your feet dry. But with all this said, the slide itself is actually fun but it's the queues and the puddle of water at the bottom of the raft which ruins it for me.

The ride itself and the concept is great however execution is terrible. When we got in the boat, there was a puddle of water that was CALF DEEP and it was all black and disgusting. Staff said we could take our shoes off but it would be disgusting to put our feet in the black water - I saw people whilst in the queue put their feet with blisters in the water. You have to take your shoes and belonging in the ride but we also got soaked. The belongings and makeup in my bag are water damaged now so itβs ridiculous thereβs no where to store items. We were near the front of the fast track queue but had to wait 40 mins for our turn- the normal queue said it was a 30 min wait so that was a waste of fast track and we couldβve gone on other rides so thatβs disappointing especially as people we saw in the normal queue got to ride before us.

Queue very long for what it is. Itβs a pleasant ride though and good for younger children. The queue has no shade if itβs a sunny day so make sure to bring sunglasses and lotion. You can get wet on this ride, but generally not particularly wet.

It's an ok ride but what let's it down is the getting wet. Now I know it's a water ride and I fully accept getting sprayed and splashed that's fine. But what winds me up is the amount of water in each rubber ring, as soon as you get in there is 3 to 4 inches of water, no fun sitting there with soaking wet freezing feet and if your sat are the back going up the hill the your getting all the water pool up by you. I've been going ro thorpe park for years and have seen the workers empty the rings every now and then bit it seems to have stopped.

One of the best rides at Thorpe imo. Only issue is that the queues can be very long since only two rafts get sent out at a time.

Epic water ride! I recommend to go here when itβs hot outside because you get splashed with tons of water! And an advice- being in a rain coat or anything waterproof to avoid getting your clothes wet! I was so dumb that I was soaking! Most of the dryers weβre working which was dumb

Bit of a queue, but quite good fun - a family ride, a good possibility of getting wet - you'll definitely get wet feet because the water stays in the base so flip flops are useful! Lol

A bit of a lacklustre experience overall, avoid if you donβt want to get wet feet! If youβve got sandals or bare feet then itβs all good though. The ride itself was fairly unexciting. Just up a ramp, around some corners, then a small splash down. Good view from the top though and one of the only rides where you can take your phone and safely take pictures.
